It's cool how in the UK we have so much regional variation. Here in South Africa we only have 3-4 variations of English/Afrikaans accents, 1-2 Coloured and of course Bantu, in 1.2 million km2. In England you can travel 10 miles and hear an entirely different dialect! Anyway my base is Yorkshire accent, the nicest accent ever... but sadly some Essex has crept in. Here in SA everyone instantly knows I'm English but back in England everyone thinks I'm from South Africa. Oh the expat life...

👌 my mum was Dutch, my dad English. Back in the good old days, mum and me would go over to England, to stay with relatives. Mostly by boat, sometimes with BA. After boarding the plane, when the Pilot would start talking, mum and me always looked at each other and started grinning....we used to imagine what he looked like, 'cause he always sounded good looking and sexy (reality... voices can be deceptive 😂) However the English Pilots always sounded sexy 😅❤
