For the pattern 6 , I think that the last note is the 4th and not the 2 no? 🤷🏻♂️
@CeciliaHone4 жыл бұрын
Ha oops yes good catch you are paying attention! I should start sending you my videos before posting for proofreading or proofplaying I guess it would be called 😆. I mean you can definitely use the 2 instead of the 4 also, especially sounds nice if you change it up from chord to chord 😁

Celia ! SO nice. So many of these patterns sound like extensions and "sus" chords. And they often often lend themselves to mixing/matching ... not only within a song or section but sometimes alternating as quickly as measure-to-measure. Its an outstanding 8 minutes 53 seconds.
@CeciliaHone2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! That means a lot to me, my goal is to show how simple it is to play around and give variety to accompaniments with small changes and variations, as a lot of people get stuck doing the same patterns over and over again.

Hi Cecilia. Really loving your content especially the tutorial videos. Speaking of which might you be able to record a tutorial on ‘Epic Cinematic Music’ along the lines of ‘Two Steps from Hell’. Thanks, keep up the great work :)
@CeciliaHone3 жыл бұрын
Absolutely! Do you have a specific song you'd like from them?
@OutandaboutWalking3 жыл бұрын
@@CeciliaHone Thank you for your response. No particular song. I think it’s more a long the lines of me trying to find out how to write big epic chord progressions and the way melodies work/interact with the chords in a kind of cinematic/film score way. I also really love piano sequences whereby there is not much of a melody but just sparse sad/emotional sounding chords spaced out at a rather slower bpm. The way the left hand parts/chords are played seems to be vital in the way a musical phrase/sketch is put together and out of all the lots of videos I have watched on KZbin yours are definitely the most educational & informative. Thanks again for your response and I shall look forward to more of your videos - Time for me to subscribe to your channel :)
