Tip: If you're trying to pick up a piece that is non-magnetic attach a length of small plastic tubing to a vacuum and you can get it into tight spaces and pick little pieces up.

Hey. Lookin for some help here, and the info in your video is related. I have a 6.7 powerstroke 2018 that is having an issue where it won’t start in the cold. Living in northern va, first 40 degree morning gets a reduced engine power message and no error codes. It’ll crank but won’t start. Same symptoms we’ve had from year to year. Ford dealership doesn’t have the knowledge to diagnose it, but I see you have a computer that reads and tells you how to diagnose the glow plugs and voltage issues. Once the truck does start it’s fine, leading me to believe one or many bad glow plugs or a bad GPCM. Any input you can provide about troubleshooting or diagnosing this issue? Thanks, Adam

@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod thanks for the response. That’s what I figured, so it seems like the dealerships have not plugged it up. Just curious is that a specific computer you use to scan the truck? Meaning would a standard ford dealer have that, or one that has a diesel specific workshop?
