Tip: If you're trying to pick up a piece that is non-magnetic attach a length of small plastic tubing to a vacuum and you can get it into tight spaces and pick little pieces up.

Old school trick a small piece of rubber vacuum line will fit over the top of glow plug and come right out also makes installation easy too use it all day everyday

Damn everyone so used to pulling the early go plugs with a magnet, I was waiting for you to wad up some gum and go in for the extraction...lol The clips, I always say to people you may be looking at new clips just because after awhile they are just so brittle, and man dont blame you at all with the air cleaner, you could wind up chasing your tail and thats just a waste of your time on their dime!

Hey. Lookin for some help here, and the info in your video is related. I have a 6.7 powerstroke 2018 that is having an issue where it won’t start in the cold. Living in northern va, first 40 degree morning gets a reduced engine power message and no error codes. It’ll crank but won’t start. Same symptoms we’ve had from year to year. Ford dealership doesn’t have the knowledge to diagnose it, but I see you have a computer that reads and tells you how to diagnose the glow plugs and voltage issues. Once the truck does start it’s fine, leading me to believe one or many bad glow plugs or a bad GPCM. Any input you can provide about troubleshooting or diagnosing this issue? Thanks, Adam

@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod thanks for the response. That’s what I figured, so it seems like the dealerships have not plugged it up. Just curious is that a specific computer you use to scan the truck? Meaning would a standard ford dealer have that, or one that has a diesel specific workshop?

I, in my opinion would just keep her bone diddly stock. Them filters are REALLY good are have a calibrated air flow so that the fuel metering adjustments are to the TEE. Otherwise readings get sloppy n then you'll be seeing me. 😊😁
