The car was sent back to Pagani to try and get repaired but the chassis was too damaged so it was scrapped. The vin from the original car was transferred to a new Huayra Roadster one-off named the "Aurora" which now resides in Missouri. The Replacement, a Huayra BC Roadster, was recently just sold privately and is now in Dubai. They have a Utopia on order and should get it sometime next year

@@sonnynick1 Understandable, but with great power comes great responsibilities, these are not easy cars to drive with so much power even for experienced drivers. I live in the same city as gage, I went to his highschool and he was 1 grade below me - I drive past that tree literally every day. There's not much distance from the street gage lives on to the tree he hit, he most likely took a right turn out of the neighborhood, gunned it, and the car went sideways. Hitting the curb is probably what gave the car air, that's 100% what happened. look at that video of the Ferrari 812 crashing on the bridge in the UK - very similar situation.
@BatMan-oe2gh Жыл бұрын
He gunned way too hard, lost it and did not have the skills to recover it. The damage shows too much speed was involved.
@BatMan-oe2gh Жыл бұрын
Low pressure in tires will actually give more traction as there is more rubber in contact with the road. He gunned it too hard and lost control and that is why he slammed into the kerb and got air. He didn't have the skills to recover once it went sideways.

It doesn’t matter if you’re 17 or 87 or anything in between: cars like that need a driver who has had some training. It looks similar to a Toyota Corolla in the sense that it has four wheels, a steering wheel and a set of pedals. That doesn’t mean one can drive it the same way on the road. Any car with built for speed, not built for your average soccer mom, is potentially lethal when you stab the loud pedal, spin the steering wheel floor the brakes. They are actually built for trained drivers. It’s foolish to think that sitting behind the wheel instantly makes one Max Verstappen.
