I can believe that. Whenever we visit Florida we hear a lot of other British accents. Brits love theme parks and we’re desperately hoping Universal Great Britain goes ahead.

I'm predicting Epic will have 5.8 million guests for the ~7 months in 2025 or just over 26,000/day.

Disney I think is going to have a huge awakening when it comes to thinking their attendance numbers will also rise due to Epic Universe. The way they have started to charge for so many aspects of the park-going experience and the ticket prices themselves, Due to the rise in prices of theme park vacations ( and the shake-down you feel at Disney) I feel that people that used to be able to do a few days at Disney and a few days at Universal are more likely to just choose one- and I think more people are going to choose the resort with the brand new park.

Agree and in addition universal may win over people in the longer game too as people try universal for the 1st time with the opening of Epic and have a great experience with less planning/less micro transactions that they decide to keep their vacations with universal

Universal's success will continue to come from merchandise and food sales. Attendence does not mean much if people are not buying while in the parks. I expect to see this part of their business crush it.

I am planning on going next fall when (hopefully) it will be less mobbed. And I want to save dark universe for last and wait until dusk to enter. Also just went to SeaWorld since we don’t do Disney because Disney have become evil.

I’m in UK and have tickets for summer 2025. Also have tickets for Disney, I’d imagine for most people coming from the UK, if you are going to the trouble of flying over and staying for a couple of weeks, it makes sense to do both sets of parks while you are there?

Also, remember that you couldn’t buy tickets for Epic before October, so there will many people (myself included) who will have held off booking tickets until October to be able to book Epic. This will have artificially inflated the year on year sales in October

Disney may have an increase in bookings for next summer as stated by their CFO but what they didn't say was for how many days (Or at least I don't remember seeing that). Sure they could have an increase in bookings, but only for 1-2 days per family which for them is still far worse for them as it's usually 4-5 days if this is the case. They're still losing in the end and they're just spinning numbers to make it not sound as bad. I have to believe Universal bookings are up quite high in the US considering they've been down for about the past 12 months as people are holding off until Epic Universe opens.

I’ve booked to stay at WDW using DVC For a week before I moved to the Grand Helios for Epic. I won’t be going to the Disney parks at all.

Disney have lost the magic, our next trip for two weeks next year will be only Universal and Seaworld parks, plus some smaller sightseeing. We are refusing to pay Disney anymore, first time in 8 trips we aren't going to Disney unless they change.

I'm planning a universal trip at some point next year. Going to do 4 days at universal and 2 at Disney, which is the opposite of what I would've done 5 years ago. I only want to go to Disney to ride guardians, tron, and maybe test track if that turns out decent.
