U earned a subscriber buddy..this series is even better than how to win at chess series by Gotham coz here u compile all the videos with one opening and it’s the best way to learn openings I guess.Thanks!!

It's baffling to me that you do not have more subscribers. Any chance of an English opening rating climb in the future?

I don't think I've ever faced e5 on move 2. I'd probably play the usual d5 and transpose into the advance variation.

Seems to me the cheat detection is like non existent on this site. Makes me not wanna play.

Great series. To bad you whisper through the whole thing.

You always highlight the most critical problems we face. That rare e5, the isolated pawn gameplay, etc.

You are an amazing teacher. I learned a lot from your Caro kann and London. From a 800 , I reached 1200, all thanks to your videos. Thank you very much.

BTW Neoharm the one you drew with was caught cheating and banned. He was up 2300 putting away NMs and FMs before he was rumbled. You'd think he woudve been found out sooner

In that last game, L’Ami recommends Ne7 after Re1. That way, when Ne5 comes, you can pull the bishop back to f5, trading off or kicking the white bishop on d3.

Both are playable, but that’s a good line! I love Erwin’s course.

How do you feel about advance caro kann and then playing c5 right away?
@AlexBanzea2 жыл бұрын
It’s playable but inferior
@Bruceylancer2 жыл бұрын
@@AlexBanzea Why though? The engine actually shows that c5 is the best move :) By a very small margin of course, but still. And also not walking into the annoying Bayonet attack. I've been playing c5 a lot lately and getting comfortable positions every time.
@AlexBanzea2 жыл бұрын
@@Bruceylancer it works well against lower rated opponents, but once you climb the ladder you will notice what’s the issue with it. Maybe we’ll see it on the channel in the future, but personally I prefer …Bf5 as a more reliable choice. The problem with …c5 lines is that you will be getting a worse French. (Sure the engine holds it, but not very fun to play in my opinion).
