WE HAD 5 DAYS TO COMPLETE THIS PROJECT The store was being fined $1000 a day, Paul of ‪@Welddotcom‬ and I had to get it done fast. After 2 days of working on these DOT rails in the Weld.com shop, it was time to install! Its not always welding, I make the most money when I cover all aspects of a construction project.
Heres the link to the first part! • $17000 Aluminum Railin...

Nice work Anthony & Paul! When I saw you paint the bonding agent I said Yes! Most guys never use it and then wonder why their concrete fails! You all did the best you could with a pretty narrow wall. Overall you guys look like your having too much fun while working hard! Great Content!

Nice job with the exception of you never want the rebar to be exposed to the outside environment it will rust in turn expand and cause your concrete to crack the pegs you put on the bottom we’re a great idea I would have only had them protude in the direction of the old concrete

Hey Tony, that was pretty cool stuff to watch. I have/use a 3” concrete hole saw on my 7” grinder, that makes short work for cleaning those holes out. The finish looks great. Hood down, lights on.

@jonnyonthespotwelding979
@jonnyonthespotwelding979 Жыл бұрын
@@joecool4836 hi Joe, it’s a dry core concrete bit. The thread cut is the same as the grinder shaft. You can tell it’s dry bit because it will have open flutes along the side to evacuate the dust. I also use compressed air to blow away the extra dust.

Good video but when the pipe bottomed you SHOULD HAVE cut a bit off the end of the pipe. That ONE unlevel hand rail spoiled what could have been a perfect end result. Sometimes you cut too many corners and don't take pride in your work.

I have very limited experience with chainsaws. I was freaking out the whole time he had that thing in his hands. I have heard, and even seen bad things happen when people were being safe. If nobody teaches him, he will learn the hard way. I certainly hope not. It's great to see a young guy out there working on his business. I have been around long enough to catch some of his mistakes. He will get it. At least he has the balls to go out there and do something. I always second guess myself, even though I have taught my bosses a few things over the years. I started one business and it went down the toilet after two years and contributed to a failed marriage. I have been gunshy ever since. It's all about getting on that horse and learning. I wish this guy the best, and I hope that he watches some chainsaw safety videos. Lol

Yup. The rail is set just deep enough to act as a lever, and a powerful one at that. Talking about a prybar. That whole rail is a big prybar. If idiots don't come and push on it, it should be fine. But, we all know that some dummy will use it as a jungle gym.
