Dark background all the way. I think a dark blue would look fabulous on all of them but they're gorgeous as is too. The turtle made me think that it was like a turtle spirit guiding the clownfish to food and safety. 😅

Lovely work. That's not artificial moss - that's real reindeer moss, dyed. I use it a lot for this sort of thing and also model scenics for model railways. It holds moisture so can rot in resin like undried flowers do so it'll be interesting to see how this looks long term. I usually dry it first in silica before putting it in resin, though not if it's for model scenics as if it's exposed to the air long term it is fine ;) Great project, I love putting tiny fish in things. Top is where the dorsal fin is. Lower sides are the pectorals. So you'll know for next time :) I hope this helps :)

Oh and do keep your left over moss in an open container - if you seal it in a bag it will get smelly and rot so leave it open so the air can look after it

I would leave the puffy hearts clear...that way I can wear it with any color sweater or blouse. What a beautiful turtle! The little fish and moss were perfect in everything! I love love love these. I love both the white card and black card but I think you can see them better from farther away on the black card.
