You should a,ways carry a second kill cord tied off around helm. Then, if pilot exits boat and kills engine, someone else can restart and heed back to get man in water.

Always bring two killswitch cords, if captain is thrown overboard you are going to stop but you are not going to be able to drive the boat to the captain in the water without the cord in place. I wish you could still drive the boat without an killswitch cord meaning you dont need to bring 2 cords. Oh well

Some manufacturers do enable engine restarts without a kill cord, but in the UK the Royal Yachting Association advise against this.

Nice to see....fast boat, the lovely Marianne, the sea looking super and the blue skies dotted with Cumulus mediocris....perfect day for messing about on boats. Personally for £174,000 I'd want a head with shower, a comfortable salon with table, and a bad weather enclosed helm...which for this price would probably mean a 2nd hand boat?? Why are boats so expensive 😞

I was only surprised by two things. ~ No PFD’s? ~ How FAST 32knots looks when on open ocean in a not very large boat. I have an 18’ I/O that will 30-35mph all day without looking that fast and will top at 50mph but only if the lake is like glass though tbh. Looks like a great day of fun as always. 👍🏼👍🏼

Fun little boat. I guess small enough to throw on a trailer and store at home, saving money on docking and such, but this still goes to show you that boating is not always cheap. I get that it's brand new and has nice features, but around where I live you can buy a house on a decent plot of land for the same money. (Admittedly I'd rather be on a boat.) Thanks for the test drive!

I was driving one 270 on a stormy weather, and no way this boat is worth 174k, the engine is sucking air all the time almost impossible to drive on a big waves, and it was not because of the wrong engine position cause they corrected it two times. This boat is worth max 100k not even 1€ more

Always great to see these sea trials videos, and your reactions both as passenger and driver (?). Also ALWAYS lovely to see both of you even if Marianne only pops up as a cameo curled up with a good book. My question is, having seen how your video style is evolving, and having watched where Marianne takes over the presenting duties, can we expect a 'Nautistyles' (I know you're friends) style video where you each present to camera as opposed to holding your own camera whilst giving the tours? I know that might make the 'mirror-wave' a little harder to obtain, but having seen (I'm guessing) Marianne filming you whilst you drove in this video - is this something you've considered? As always, though the joy you both have in all things boating shines through yet again in another wonderful video. Thanks, and looking forward to the next one.
