Thanks! I’ve been following your efforts also! I’m wondering if the FX DRS in .177 might be a long range tack driver? It has barrel length advantage over the Avenger.

@@motorgearhead 👍 thanks , I think DRS .177 has less power , FX claim around 19 fpe . I like DRS but shots per fill on them is bad

Not what I expected when first shooting this rifle. In fact not even possible until I stumbled on the resizing “trick”. This barrel love .173 sized slugs. The barrel is .172 based on measuring the 15 grn NSA that hung in the breech. The rifle didn’t have enough pressure to expel the 15 grn slug. So pushed it out and measured it .172. Sizing to .173 made this thing amazing. I’ve had one other person comment their barrel was .172 also. The rifle will shoot 12.5 nsa slugs without resizing but they have to pushed hard and they will hang if pressure drops to 3-3,5000 psi if I recall. Resized even the 15 will shoot at 2200 reg setting. They won’t be fast and accuracy isn’t anything fantastic but resistance is manageable. So I learned the secret by accident. I’m wondering if the .22 might have a similar story to tell. I haven’t heard it yet if it does But we’re talking!
