Big Thanks to Gusty & his Uncle. Getting the boys home, then going back with others so everyone is on the same page is heroic. People need to stop hearing these as 'stories" & recognize they are being taught by example how to get out. Both times the Hairy Men flanked & surrounded the humans. That's not curiosity, it's hunting. What makes this channel so special IS the reports are current, what's extra-special is The People finally trusting Fred to treat the subject ethically & responsibly. Absolutely Monumental! 👍👍👍

Yes that's a very scary thing to think about. The fact that it's hunting I don't think it's curiosity at all when they flank and surround.😮

Thanks for sharing Gusty’s story, it was a harrowing encounter. His uncle was brave, keeping the kids safe while watching out for these things. Same here, my folks don’t like to talk about whatever. I’m trying to get a story out of an auntie who saw a reptilian scaly biped creature while fishing. Be safe and thanks to your friend for wanting to let people know.

@@WarrenHolly southern Georgia, about 60 miles from the Florida line. An uncle was with her. All he will say is that it was a tall, greenish lizard looking thing on two legs, but she had a closer encounter. You have to understand they are older Native people. They’re afraid that talking about these things will draw them closer.

Hey Fred, fellow Native from the States. I live and am enrolled in once of the seven reservations in Montana and we too currently have experiences with mihs-taw-pay-ho (Cree) where we live. I'm mostly Anishanaabe but grew up learning the Cree language. We've also got experiences with the little people. We've learned to respect and stay away from them when possible. We don't go do the whole "researching" and "Squatchin" BS either. No one here claims of having gifting exchanges or friendly meet and hers with these things either. I think that's mostly a European thing. We live and let live and though some of my family members have had some pretty "hairy" encounters I'll leave them for another day. I've had one myself but it wasn't much more than watching him walk across the road after a Fish, Wildlife and Parks Officer accidentally interrupt a hunt on a young doe, we believe. Whatever the case, i just wanted to let you know that us Southern First Nations (Northern to most) continue to have our own encounters. None quite as scary as some of those that happen up in the big wife open spaces of Alaska though. They seem to be bigger and more aggressive, maybe less contact and less of a threat from humans? Whereas the Continental US is just getting over run with people and these things probably just want nothing to do with us. Idk, just speculation, contrary to popular belief there are no experts and no one with regular visitations with these things to get to know their mindset, habits and thoughts on human encroachment although you'll hear plenty of people pretend to know exactly these things nature. Keep doing what you're doing. I'm a subscriber and impressed with your ability to retell the stories with the way you do. Well, ek-o-si (enough) take care nee-stow (friend).

Thank You Dusty for sharing your Stories. Man what a experience and whatever other experiences he’s had to go through. And as always Fred, Thank You for relaying his Experiences the way only you can. I have been a Hunter since I was barely big enough to hold a Rifle, and I can’t say what I would if I ran into one of the Hairy Men in Alaska. It’s a whole different Story up there. Down here in Texas our biggest worry is Poisonous Snakes. I wish I was young again and could go to Alaska and go check out these places with you. That would be a real Adventure. Great Advice at the end about People being Safe with Firearms. I won’t Hunt the National Forest here in Texas, because all the City People try to go Hunting and will Shoot anything that moves just about. I have my own Areas to Hunt. Thanks again Fred, can’t wait for the next one.👍👍❤️

Wow……….. the Hairy Man is not stupid by no means. Do you think that over the years they have learned from humans being in the woods?? Like the hunting style ……… maybe they’ve watched our military doing drills in the woods so they learned how to maneuver and flank. Or maybe just by watching caribou and bear hunters. Either way I never want to run into one of these things. Appreciate you telling us about Gusty’s experience and a big thanks to him!!! Love the channel….. looking forward to more videos!!!!

Very interesting, what guage gun did he have? This is important as most people never say, but yeah, as a hunter, you kinda KNOW when you hit your target. You not only see in your scope, but no scope, you get that feel that the animal is over and done with. Can we get a bit of an explanation of what type of rifle, caliber, rounds he was using? This can help explain a few things as if the Hairy Man was actually hit, then did the subject just shrug it off or did it not even care?
@subarcticalaskasasquatch

All that was related to me was his "hunting rifle" when I asked, however I'd guess probably a .30-06 like most people use back then and today but I have no confirmation on exact caliber or round used

@@subarcticalaskasasquatch Thank you, maybe you can, or the person involved she'd a little light on this as many here would generally enjoy knowing. You see, in all circumstances, you want something that will take down an elk, wild boar, bear and even polar bear, you know the drill, but if you can find out why if our friend took multiple shots, even knowing he hit it, why it could still be running around. I do have an idea that if you took a side shot, even with an arrow, the creature has no defense against that. Not to get weird with those who watch the channel, as I think they can actually be killed, but do you think these creatures have some sort of dermal plating? My friend says that a 50mm round will do the job, but a .22 correctly placed under an arm will do it just as nicely. A .223 AR15 will go right through as well. What say you?
