I had a local leather worker make me one about five years ago and it's been a staple ever since. 6" ferro rod, Leatherman Surge, Olight 18650 torch and a"tactical" pen. Great way to carry the weight without as you said giving away the fact that you have tools with you. Great for when you're in and out of vehicles too.

@@RedBranchBushcraft I hand drilled the end, added shock cord to keep it in place I take the shock cord loop around the ferro rod and leather over the bottom end. Works well. The main thing is it keeps my core tool set under my smock skirt away from the rain in our beautiful Atlantic weather. 😭😉🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
