Howdy! You are looking beautiful. 🦋 Thank you for this knowledge. As always, I learned something new. I need to stop fertilizing my herbs.🙂 Your herb bed is cute!👍

Awe thank you, that's very nice of you to say that! You can give them a little bit of fertilizer once in a while but don't spoil them too much 😉🌿 Have a nice Sunday!

I bought my terracotta pots and drainage dishes from Michael's in USA. Very reasonable. There is one hole at the bottom of pot. I had small stones and rocks. I was able to grow basil, dill, coleus flowers. This was achieved on a small balcony with a tree blocking most of sun, I failed at tomatoes, though.

That's awesome 🙌🏻! Well done! Oh yes tomatoes unfortunately need lots of direct sunlight. I just published a video about fruits and vegetables for shady gardens, maybe you will find some other ideas for your garden in it ☺️

I'm going to buy seeds in a few months from different seed houses and concentrate on herbs and coleus and maybe tiny tomatoes. If I fail at tomatoes, I will only grow the above.@@17m2garden

hello, I'm a little confused, you said herbs need a draining soil, but I didn't see you putting holes in the plastic bag, did I miss something? have a good Sunday

Hi! Yes I cut plenty of drainage holes at the bottom of that plastic bag, but I realized afterwards that my camera wasn't recording in that moment 😅🫣. Sorry for the confusion! Have a nice Sunday as well 🌿!

Mint and lemon balm are best (safest!) in pots.

Thank you. You gave me good ideas. The word "mint" was not understandable for a minute or so. The letter i is not like in french. It's sound is "ih" as in "the English word "myth". Also, the t is hard as in the word "sit". The n is also stronger. Your English is perfect except for that word. Funny, such a small word having complexity. I will plant my basil in partial shade and my chives in poor soil..

Hello! I'm glad you found this video helpful! Thanks for correcting my English. I'm pretty sure that wasn't the only word I mispronounced, but as a non-native speaker, I will never sound exactly right. If you have a hard time understanding what I am saying, you can choose English subtitles in the video options 😊 P.S French is not my native language.

@@17m2garden You have a lovely soft accent. It was actually hard to understand mint. I don't know why. Yes, I've speculated that you are from the Netherlands based on your excellent English and intonation. Is that correct. BTW I am an American living in France. You could correct every word I say in French. I am ashamed of my accent. You can be proud of yours.
