Love that this is going to become a regular thing. For me personally I love the monthly updates, but would totally understand if you save them up for a quarterly every now and then, if that fits the schedule better. I will watch them, no matter in what order, format or frequency! 😄 I just really appreciate you going through all of these mods, keeping updated and updating us. Your channel was already a very valuable source of info for me. Not only with the tutorials, but also with all of the info you mention during your let's plays about mods and hearing your thought process on the use of mods. But having it all in one place like this, makes it really easy to sit down and combine some mod updating & checking with doing some maintenance on my downloads folder. And that's honestly so perfect, enjoyable and efficient. Couldn't love it more. 😄❤

Aw bless you thats so sweet and lovely to hear, it’s really the kind of thing that makes me so eager to keep going!🥰 That’s really good to know. I was thinking if I do the new mods quarterly, then I’d have time to do other kinds of mod showcase videos by category/theme covering some older mods that might have slipped under the radar. But, I’ll see how many new mods come out each month and judge what makes most sense! Think I’ve found my niche with covering mods and tutorials😊 I absolutely love keeping up with all the new mods coming out so its just even better if I can share my findings!

@@BellaDovah Yeah, definitely agree on this being your thing or niche. 😄 The (new?) site also looks really good, I can see you've put a lot of thought into this. The mods quarterly and mod showcases in between also makes a lot of sense. I think with things like these, it's too restricting to keep to a forced schedule and when there's a bit more room to change frequency when it fits you, you can focus on whatever draws your attention or gives you energy in that moment. 😊

The sun lamp thingy is probably for playing a plant sim and being able to build a house with lamps that might look better, instead of only using the original sunlamp, I'd assume, right?

I absolutely love these videos! It gives simmers an insight into each Mod, sort of like a “try before you buy”. Then I can decide if I like the mod and want to use it, then I won’t have to go through the process of installing the Mod, playtesting it and then uninstalling it because I didn’t like it. 😋

I'm pretty active on Tumblr and MTS so I knew about most of these, but its great getting to see the ones I missed or was hesitant about downloading in practice! I suggest also adding the mod links to a Tumblr post or something like it, in the history of sims 2 so many personal websites have gone offline and backed up resource posts are never a bad idea. Thank you for the video and updates, I love the sims modding community so much. It's amazing what some people can do.

You’re welcome! I get your point but having all the same information available on tumblr would defeat the whole purpose of my website that I’ve put a lot of time, effort and money into. Besides, in my experience, tumblr blogs are just as likely to get deleted if not more so! But I will make sure I have backups and a contingency plan for the unlikely unfortunate event that my website goes down

after adding the VR headset to my arcade, a bunch of sims around the neighbourhood are walking around in vr headsets 😭 it’s so funny, it’s like they forgot to take them off but are functioning completely normally. Not sure if I should be worried/this shouldn’t be happening, but it’s days later and this one elder townie in particular is STILL waddling around in this headset 😭

Omg that does sound really funny but also like it could get annoying and/or buggy! It might be worth mentioning to LimeyYoshi and they might look into a fix. It does remind me of when I have halloween parties and use the costume trunk to change everyone on the lot and I don’t realise there was a walkby so days later I’ll see a townie in a halloween costume 😂 easily fixed with the SimBlender at least

Some of these look really neat! I hadn't even realized there were DRs for the plumbobs. I do hate the language in the scale mod's menu though (I know that's not your doing).

To be honest I'm not quite sure how it works either...I'm not sure if they require one exactly but it definitely at least helps. One is definitely needed for growing plants inside a normal room anyway

@@joshuapaulknight not sure exactly in what way you mean but there are several mods that help with this, one that comes to mind is Care Don’t Wave: simnopke.tumblr.com/unpublished but there’s also some that make them smarter about looking after babies/toddlers etc

I left a nice long comment here and KZbin removed it and the reply I left to someone simply asking what CC had caused their issue. 🤷‍♀ I forget all of what I had said but I know I mentioned that JaVera has a mod that makes plumbbobs invisible in her older upload archive and I was saying I have not seen a plumbbob since 2010. Also that there are other toddler toys that skill body and give enthusiasm.

Ah I'm so sorry to hear that, I hate it when that happens! It's not in my held for review, I have the comment filter at basic level not strict, and you were already an approved user of mine so none of your comments should get flagged on my channel! If you put any links or anything that looks like a link like a filename with .package as all one word, in my experience that's what gets instantly removed. Haha, I love seeing the plumbobs, wouldn't feel like sims without them to me, but I completely get how they can get in the way or break immersion! Do you mean other mods/cc for toddlers? I only know of the kiddie pools that gain body for them so let me know if you have any other good recommendations :)

@@BellaDovah I never add links anymore since those are 100% vanishing. Learnt that the hard way a couple of years back after finding over 10 links for someone ugh. I probably used some word, benign in simming but bad in real life would be my guess, but I honestly don't know. Not seeing plumbbobs is my normal now and I love it except when I lose a family and I end up hunting around a large hood like my Uber hood, as the mod also removes them off the houses. I have a whole heap of toddlers toys for all 10 skills. IDK if they are easily available anymore as they were by bienchen83 off her old site. Her body shaker toy is still on MTS called " Soccer toy for toddlers". It has a cute pop up when they learn the skill plus enthusiasm. Some of her other toddler toys are in the "baby/toddler/kids room "far from perfect" on MTS as well. There is a wooden island with animals that skill charisma that i love because it's quiet and a sink for cleaning. Her downloads are worth having a look through. She also has a sand stick that kids can use for science in her sand box set.
