😮Elena's is pretty good for Filipino food, I've eaten there several times. The shrimp sarciado is the bomb. But you need to try Thelma's which is also in Waipahu. I love Thelma's special, which is lechon with tomato and onion (the original). Also you're right, Filipino food needs to be eaten with rice. I can eat up to 3 bowls of rice when eating a tableful of Filipino dishes.

Adobo fried rice omelet? Looks a bit like a take on omurice or something, and I'd eat the heck out of it. I need more Filipino food in my life, I think. But loco moco without hamburger patties sounds a bit odd, to me. The ube pancakes made up for that, for me, though.
@SupremeJudge7 ай бұрын
The adobo fried rice omelette is delicious and has been around for a long time. I agree, loco moco without hamburger patties isn't my thing. As for the pancakes, the topping is delicious but the pancakes themselves are dense and chewy like it's over mixed, I've tried them 4 times and every time it was dense and chewy.
