Made a Hammerdin for Ladder Season 7. Been using him as a Smiter too. After I maxed out Hammers, its synergies and Concentration, I put one point in Smite, Fanaticism and Salvation. The rest of my points are in Holy Shield. Even with so little invested in a Smiter build, he's able to take down ubers and dclones. With just budget Smite gear he was able to do these just fine. Otherwise, my Hammerdin has around 425% magic find and is pretty effective.

Sorry about a noob question, but that 2/2 claw you got (blue "magic" one), can you make a runeword in that if you get x OS from Larzuk?

No, can only make rune words in Grey socketed items 👍 also if you larzuk a blue item it gets 1 or 2 sockets only.

I found a -71 lightning and -87 fire sunder off the same fallen pack in the room right before Andy in a terror players 7. Also got a ral rune and an amulet with +1 sorc and 9fcr. Prob best run I’ve ever had. Not that a ral is that great, just adding it to the run cause it dropped. Lol On my recently stayed offline character too!

I finally found a griffon in singleplayer!! Im playing on ps5. Still missing a stone of jordan very much. I already found one but i messed arround with the clock and somehow lost that soj. Havent been able to get my hands on another yet :(

How'd you manage to get 7 skillers on SP? Not sure if you are playing it with hero editor or legit, but I'd imagine legit would take quite a while to obtain 7 skillers.

I've been playing single player since the game launched. And I'm full time d2r KZbinr and steamer. You are correct it took a lot of time. There's some builds I haven't even gotten a full inventory of skilled yet even posing full time for like 3 years.

Hey phil. I built a lvl90 hammerdin and its soooo slow compared to the self weild nova sorc i just gave up and wemt back to my sorc. Less mf but its just faster 😕

20 years of d2 , i think i played hammerdin one time for a very short time. Probably 1 week worth of hammer play time. I just never like the pally. Its either too easy or too boring. The whole spamming hammers gives me ADHD

I made a smiter paladin for ubers because i was mostly playing a sorc, but then i retired him, didnt play him and slowly just sold off his gear. Then i decided to gear him up a little, nothing crazy, enigma, hoto, cta, spirit, arach, soj + 10fcr ring, shako, maras, magefists. Respeced him to hammerdin, played for around 2 hours after that amount of time i had noticed a few things. Its very boring to play, its so slow its painful, bosses lived for weeks in comparison to my light sorc. He was tankier that was the only plus side. Its just so painfully slow, teleports slower, kills a lot slower, especially packs. Bosses werent that bad if they were standing still. I dont mean to shit on hammerdins, but the first time i tried one i was really disappointed. But fair enough i was comparing a good geared paladin with a top geared light sorc so that will of course color my perception as well. Thank god i already knew how to telestomp otherwise it would had been worse. I also had by that point changed from hoto to a +5cl, 5l orb with a 5-5 facet which also helps. Changed some charms around to get the res i lacked. Now i knew i didnt have the experience that i needed to get everything out of him, but that was experience you didnt even need with a light sorc. Its just aim and shoot, another plus side you can cast teleport one less time for every pack, because a sorc can kill them from afar and doesnt need to stand in the middle of the pack to be effective.

You are the unluckiest person I've seen with facets 😅 the qty you find for non 5/5 is crazy I find maybe 1-2 facets a week or 2 weeks and they all the time or 99.9% 5/5

isnt this game auto pilot after a really short time and all the rewards have nothing to do with skill, everything with rng? so basically slot machine but instead of paying with money you pay with ur time? plus 80% of the items you find are completely useless, still people act like they achieved something 😂
