Korean movies are my favorite. I prefer the subtitles to the dubbed version no matter what movie I'm watching. I've been reading subtitles for so long that I have no problem keeping up with the movie. Going to watch Veteran for sure.

@@janiewindle946 I don't know how anyone can. Even the best dubs are too distracting. Between how silly it sounds, and the lips, nor the original emotion not matching, it pulls your attention away more than subtitles. If a foreign language movie is good enough to watch, I will always choose subtitles.

9:58 found out the hard way about that. 21 years ago (this week) I lost a dear friend to suicide. When PD let me in to his apartment to get another friends belongings (he obviously didnt want to go inside, having been there when it happened) they failed to tell me what I was walking into. I'll never forget that site. Thankfully, an old HS friend was a "cleaner" out of NV, so he came out to help us clean up the apartment before his family came to collect his belongings (also an experience I'll never forget). To hell with SFPD for not warning me as to what I was about to see.
