The dragon egg exception is like banners, you can make customised ones using a loom in survival - but you can't get a premade banner from the creative inventory .

Petrified oak slabs had missing textures before. They are oak slabs from the older version of the game that act the same as stone slabs (you can’t light them on fire )

Actually, the knowledge book can be given a recipe so that if you right click it in survival you get that recipe without having to get the materials or complete the requirements. Also, the petrified oak slab can't be broken with an axe. You need a pickaxe to get it, as it's actually stone. Sorry if my english is a bit off, I'm not a native speaker

“Can’t obtain these items in creative menu” Me who uses the saved hot bars section: *insert image of Leonardo DiCaprio laughing” For anyone that doesn’t know what saved hot bars are it is a feature in Java edition that where you press c 1-9 your stuff in your hot bar will appear in there and if you press x 1-9 that saved hot bar will appear in the hot bar and I use this feature to put the command only obtainable items in the creative menu in a way

I don’t know if someone has already told you this but the petrified oak slab actually used to be craftable in survival and it acted like a cobblestone slab so it would be mined faster with a pickaxe and slower with an axe

I think you can left click the knowledge book in survival it will unlock all recipes And if you break the petrified oak slab in survival the tool of choice is axe for the normal slab and pickaxe for the other.

The debug stick changes the data of a block not only the appearance Also the petrified slab is like an oak slab but with the data of a stone slab For example if you mine the petrified slab with an axe it will be slow to mine it and if you mine it with a pickaxe it will be fast to mine it

Here's some things you missed: Debug stick: The weird snowy texture takes place when snow layer is on top of grass. But when the game thinks there should be a snow layer, but there isn't, it shows this weird texture. Finding it is very rare tho. Knowledge books: When people create custom items in a datapack, and they craft the item, instead of the item, a knowledge book appears, but on clicking it, you get the item in the datapack. They also somehow give you crafting achievments. Petrified oak slabs: They are actually just re-textured stone slabs, as they do not burn and spread, and need a pickaxe to break

Fun fact: When Oak Slaps where first introduced, they originally were mined with a pickaxe. It had the resistance- no... what's another word? The stability- Argh! Screw my English! It's as hard as stone and you had to break it with a pickaxe, so when that changed Mojang kept the original Oak slap in the game as the "Petrified Oak Slab". So it's not identical, it's harder to break.

No, actually dragon eggs are obtained in Survival by killing the ender dragon, hitting the egg so that it teleports, mining 2 blocks down next to the egg, and break the block under the block the egg is on and place a torch there. then mine the block the egg is on and It falls and breaks like gravel and sand falling on a torch. Then you just pick it up and bring home your souvenir!

Fun fact: the petrified oak slab is obtainable in survival. You need to make a world in release 1.0 and make some oak slabs, and then open the world in a later version. They will be changed to petrified oak slabs, and they are as hard as stone
