18 Minutes of CLOSEUP KC-10 Action | Daytona Beach International Airport Plane Spotting (KDAB)

When it comes to air to air refueling, no tanker is more iconic than "Big Sexy" herself, the KC-10 Extender! Back in 2023 I had the amazing opportunity to spend a week with the KC-10 during a quick detachment at Daytona Beach. With her retirement only a few months her time is becoming more scarce, and sightings of her are becoming rarer by the day. Without further ado I hope you enjoy this compilation of her time in Daytona Beach, and hopefully this will not be the last time she is seen on this channel!

The very first KC-10’s were stationed at Barksdale and we had a field trip at school and got to tour the “new” aircraft. They had the blue nose and white paint with the Strategic Air Command “ribbon” around the fuselage. I’m still impressed by it but as a 10 year old kid, it was the best field trip I ever got to go on!
