This 19 perfect darts shouldn't count cos after he hit 16 perfect darts there was a short intermission then MVG hit a few practice darts before hitting 17, 18 & 19. Against Wade in 2013 he hit 19 in a row without practice shots in between.

Funnily enough, if the current format of the PL existed when MVG hit the world record average which now consists of best of 6 legs (instead of 7), he would have had a record that would probably never be beaten (134+). Still, his 114.5 in a world semi will probably not.

Part of professional darts is drinking lots of beer to help you relax. I worked at the players bar in the 3 arena. Cross loves a pint, every time there's a break he's always there necking back two. Very nice bloke btw.
