For PSet7 part 3, it asks to plot firing rates (v1 and v2) as well as mode activity (c1 and c2) as functions of time. My c1 and c2 plots look like the plots in the slides, but I was wondering about the firing rates. Should the firing rates immediately drop once the input is removed? I stopped input at 0.8 s and used mSelf as 0.2 and mOther as -0.8. My v2 hits a maximum of around 203 at 0.8 seconds and then immediately drops to a steady state of 133.3 Hz. Does that seem reasonable and if so, why does it drop suddenly?
