It's honestly insane to me that parents would leave their teenager responsible for their other child when they were in the mall too and could easily just let him do his own thing while keeping the sister with them. Cuz then when something happens, the parents blame the older child who is already blaming themselves when they never should have been responsible for another child to begin with.
