Great job TSportline. THIS is the wheel size I want for the CT. I'm willing to bet the weight improvement and airdown for offroading with an 18 wheel setup is amazing.

I'm really liking your content showing all the different things that you can do to customize the CT. One thing that would be very nice to see would be a comparison on ride quality at highway and rough terrain. I know you talked about 18" is the common rim size for off road and the reasons why. Maybe just have a little talk along with that the effect on range for your different wheel and tire combos. In this particular video, maybe just a look at 20" vs 18" on the tires. Since you took off the harmonic dampener, maybe a cabin test braking with 20" vs. 18" would round it all out.

Do some tests to see how range is affected. Bigger stock rim w less tire vs Smaller rim w more tire.

I would like to see 18's with 37's helped by a little extra offset (.5 to 1"), upgraded low profile ball joints, and or spindles. Then also a lift kit. 2 or 3". So very minimal.

Poke looks cool but slings rocks all over the side of your vehicle. No paint to worry about but the fenders and rockers are plastic :)

Questions: So what are the advantages of doing this: handling? Also potentially better mileage? Noticing that a few Cybertrucks are getting stuck in snow…are the nubs better on these tires? Last question: the truck rises and lowers correct depending on conditions? Any compromise there? How and where can we buy these tires, and can a regular mechanic install them? Thanks!🙏

Advantage: softer ride, better offroad traction, less prone to curb damage, better contact pact with lowered tire pressure for offroad. Disadvantage, turning dynamics will be more prone to body roll. Stone of those early stick in snow issues were due to the early software that didn't allow for locking diffs and traction control on. All factory truck brands can get stuck in deep slow.

It won't increase range, but will give other advantages: Advantage: softer ride, better offroad traction, less prone to curb damage, better contact pact with lowered tire pressure for offroad. Disadvantage, turning dynamics will be more prone to body roll.

So when I watch this and see the shape of the wheel relative to the brake caliper, it makes it look like a wheel spacer would make it so this wheel hits the caliper. Is that correct or not?

A wheel spacer would actually push the wheel and spokes away from the caliper.

I would like to know how much range you can get with street tires on the Cybertruck. Those luggy ones have to be reducing the range.

The load specification authority that you both refer to, in this segment, is inaudible. It sounds like you are saying “ FDA ( which I doubt ) ” or “ FBA. ” I’d, really, like clarification on the name of this organization. I intend to research its guidelines and mandates. Thank you. Oh . . . ‘ One other thing ; Have you, all, considered, the prospects of double-beadlock, wheels ?
