That is an amazing deal on the flour!! I found King Arthur flour for $1.99 5lb bags at my discount store and bought 2 of them and they went straight into the freezer!

Great haul. And your menu plan sounds great. Another thing that you could do with the pork loin ( or for another time) is to cut it into chops ( the butcher at the store will this at no charge). You can get them cut as thick as you want them. I used to get a few chops and leave enough for a small roast.

Oh my - If Jack is anything like my husband he hates to be down and unable to do what he wants when he wants....My husband crushed his heel bone in a fall 2 years ago and is recovering from a 2nd surgery to hopefully repair and get him back to as close to normal as possible - Its not fun for husband or wife! Praying for a quick recovery for Jack! Your meal plan sounds delicious - gave me some good ideas.

If you have a Costco they sell unbleached All purpose flour and azure does too.

Unfortunately we don’t have a Costco, and Sam’s club only has bleached :( I plan to eventually try Azure. So far, everything I need in bulk I’m usually able to find with the Amish at a similar price, but I keep checking the website.

Hi Tanji. So glad to see you back. I’ve always enjoyed your videos. I’m going to try that salad you mentioned today for lunch. I have everything needed for it. Would love to try that spaghetti squash recipe but I’ve never felt like I’m cooking that squash correct. It always seems to have a slight crunch to it no matter how long or how I cook it. Is that normal?

Yes, the squash will have a bite to it. Like an al dente texture.
