Hey house lovers and explorers! This video I teamed up with Werner from / @wernersadventures8330 where we went out in the rural areas and filmed a few old locations with this one being the last one on the day! And it was a real beauty.
The home is a bit of a Frankenstein home with almost the feel of two cottages being joined together. The front part definitely an 1800`s build and the later not too far behind. Seems to have been given another ceiling in most rooms to save the old girl from rotting and who ever the last occupants were left a lot of old stuff behind including enough toys to be able run a school here! They packed up but never took a lot of things. A shed has all the old things from the good old days in it too. This one was a lot of fun and felt like an old museum. Make sure you check out Werner`s channel if you have not already here / @wernersadventures8330
Hope you all enjoy the explore, cheers for watching :-)

That cupboard at the beginning was GORGEOUS!! The only thing missing was the cutting board. I'm surprised there isn't a heavy layer of dust on everything, A lot of those books were in absolutely pristine condition. Like others have mentioned I hope nobody else finds that place and trashes it. It would be so interesting to look through the boxes..... AND put everything back!! Awesome find!!

This one looks very liveable. Loved the kitchen cabinets, but my favourite thing has to be that old cart. I wonder if (like many of the old homes) that this was lived in for many years, the children grew up and moved away and the owner passed - but someone started to pack up after that. Would be a lovely place for someone.

I hope no one finds this one, lest it gets ransacked. They were packed to go, or did they just arrive? Storage maybe? With the mix of old and new, I belive they were collectors of a sort. Anyway, for me this one's another "move in ready", I'd even keep that antique dirt on the floor. 😍 Another one of your best Paul! 🤠👍👍 🇺🇸 (This is the first Aussie explore I've seen with a true basement, a poured concrete one at that!)

One step into that glorious kitchen and I feel I must know these people. The lovingly hand crocheted doll clothes! My great-aunt in Chicago would make those and send them to my sisters and I at Christmas where ever in the world my peripatetic family was perched. Oh! I think the metal chest in the kitchen is a vintage Bridgestone tool chest! Some mechanic would probably be thrilled to have that in the shop. The number of toys and books, mostly for very young children, could suggest that a daycare or preschool may have been operated in the home.

5:43. Did you look in the veneer sewing table when exiting the kitchen as there is a good chance there is a sewing machine in there? The top lifts up to make a bigger work area. 9:36. The sewing machine you see here is used for repairing leather good such as saddles and shoes. That is why there is no sewing platform under the needle. You had to be able to swing the leather around under the needle. Great find. Thank you.

Hi Paul...what a find! Such a solid, substantial build. I loved the timber ceilings, which were in perfect condition, showing that in recent times, someone put in a lot of effort to make it a lovely home. My feeling is that the family had been there for several generations. The older tin toys may have belonged to the father/grandfather and kept for more current offspring in what seems to be a large family. That old industrial sewing machine is a treasure. There was also an old Singer in one of the rooms. Those kitchen cabinets still had the old lino linings...classic. That radiogram is way older than the '60's. The cabinet design looked more in keeping with the '40's. Thanks for another great explore. 😁

Thank goodness you did not say 'creepy doll' like all the other explorers every doll they see is creepy. Great vintage and antique toys and furniture I cannot see the owners who kept them so well just leaving all behind. Sad to say but maybe a death in the family (which may have happened while in the process of them moving) has cause all this stuff to be left behind I do hope some of these antiques are saved especially the kitchen cabinets and sewing machine. The one cabinet left in the work shed makes me think that the person who lived there would have restored these cabinets. What brand is the sewing machine? It is amazing I’ve never seen one like that.

The Precedent record player most likely dates from the early-mid 50s, going by the cabinet style and the cream coloured Garrard turntable. These could play 16/33/45/78 rpm. My Dad worked in the electronics industry for 40 years and scratch built a stereo in 1957, using that same model Garrard turntable (which I still own). This house was a great find - thanks for filming and posting!

I guess if you’ve got to get on the road, you opt to leave what you can’t fit, probably thinking the next people can keep it, or toss it. The probably took the most important stuff, beds and clothes, dishes and pots and pain, and left everything they could live without.

I'm thinking that might be for making shoes or leather work the doll in the room with the wheelbarrow is quite an old doll or maybe it was a deceased estate and they had a sale and that's the stuff that didn't sell omg we had on of those record players /radiograms when we I lived in Hobart ended up selling it to this young guy who wanted to restore it so he could play his records
