The fact that Genome has lived for thousands of years and actually met Zeus makes it interesting. For Getter, Genome mentions that the Getter Team does not need the power of evolution. The power of evolution refers to the getter rays. Getter rays and spiral energy is very similar to each other.

i've just played this game for months and fought this boss yesterday, and damn, his MAP attack wipe my team out tip for every hard boss in this game: gather your team around him, dont attack yet because this will give him VT to use MAP attacks that will usually cause disaster to your team. Next turn unleash everything on the bastard (strongest attack+soul, valor, brave...), try to finish him in 1 turn.

@Enlightenedopinion92 Certain pilots have a spell/seishin called 'Invincibility' that reduces all damage to 10. That is why some robots only get 10 damage in this vid.

It was difficult for me at first but my knowledge of Chinese helped me to figure out most of the Japanese kanji in these kind of games. For beginners, its good to familiarize yourself with all the basic menu commands first so that you can understand the game and how to play it.

Its a strategy game much like Fire Emblem, Ogre Battle, Advance Wars and Disgaea where you select units to go fight other units on the map. There is actually a lot of planning and strategy which I have conveniently skipped to go straight to all the badass battle animations whenever a unit fights another unit.

The only 2 English language games in the -main- SRW series to be released to date are Super Robot Taisen Original Generations 1 and 2, released about a year apart on the Game Boy Advance(2006 and 2007), I believe...; both are notoriously difficult, with the latter being utterly ruthless at some points...a single mistake can literally render a mission unwinnable!

@guzman737 Genome says that he can feel the presence of a being who is not a human(this refers to Eureka). Renton refutes that Eureka's heart is human. Genome than asks how long can Eureka maintain her human heart and Renton replies that he'll protect Eureka and will fight anyone that harms her. Genome than says that fakes like Eureka exist only to cause ruin to humanity and thus their existence cannot be allowed. This is also a reference to Nia's eventual fate as an anti-spiral puppet.

@ElleRoni Kappei tells Genome that he will beat him. Genome calls him a fool. Uchūta and Keiko then say that Genome is tough and wonder if they can beat him. Kappei then says that he will not retreat no matter how strong Genome is. Genome is slightly impressed, says that he will not hold back and will be sure to obliterate Kappei. Kappei then says that they definitely will not lose. The new limit is now 100 million.

I hate how tough Rasen-Oh is. Attacks twice in a row, regenerates 9000+ per turn, hits like a tonne of bricks. Fuck. Even worse how the entire game up to him is a walk in the part, and suddenly he's kicking your arse.

@180223 I'm willing to bet that Zeus and the other 'Greek Gods' were in fact other Spiral Warriors from Lordgenome's time. As for the Getter Rays, it's conceivable that Photonic Energy (Mazinger), GN Particles (Gundam 00), Getter Rays and Spiral Power are all the same thing. They all certainly have a 'evolution' theme going. Plus they're all green.

1. If you were allowed save Kamina, Simon's character development would be shafted and a sequel won't be possible. 2. Kamina's stats are extremely broken early in the game, he is one of the pilots to get Valor first unless you're not grinding your GL.

Genome then replies that beating him because of revenge is a lame reason. Jiron than replies that he will not lose to someone who belittles the life of humans. Genome that replies that he is the one protecting the planet and all life on it. Jiron then says that Genome's way of thinking is twisted and he will defeat him.

Well, there is a Spirit Command in SRW (I think it's called Invincible) that reduces damage taken from one attack to 10. I haven't played Z2, so I don't know what Spirit commands the Nirvash pilots have, but I'm assuming that at least one of them has it. Because scripting a boss to do next to no damage to non-spiral power units would make him hilariously easy.

Save the SP and EN for the last, use ammo based weapons first. Spam Soul/Valor/Love/Bravery+Flash/Invincibility/Sense when fighting Lordgenome since he has 100% accuracy, HP Regen and can move twice per turn.
