I adore your talks, consistenly listen to them, but I believe you are missing some points: AI is trained on data from human, the data has to be governed, there are policies regarding the data being processed. Human has biases, weaknesses that we talk about. unbiasing AI is not a easy task.

If we with human intelligence within few years go beyond what we initially learnt, what would Ai do in a few days or minutes when it is set free. Sir, this is nuanced topic and we have to consider a lot of factors. For AI to be running the world, it should be all-wise and it should consider the well-being of living things over logic. It will try to reengineer our primitive brains that are used to conflict, mistrust & fear plus other survival mechanisms we developed via evolution. Given our current nature, AI would heavily need to police & discipline us. But I agree that we humans should not be trusted in running the world. We have destroyed the planet and have caused the extinction of species. We are the cancer.

Asalam O Alaikum. Firstly, please allow me to convey my respect for your work in media and civil services domain. May He guides you even further. Ameen. 2ndly, this is my 1st ever comment on anybody's view anywhere. May be i was compelled this time. Before i comment, i assume you are familiar with the very basic stages/concepts of A.I and quantum computing, because that knowledge is of paramount significance for what am about to write. If my assumption is right, quantum computing is/will open unimaginable ways of problem solving at lightening speed. Combine that with sheer "Artificial General Intelligence (AGI)" stage 5 of A.I. I wonder what will we get. We cannot ignore the greedy and bloody side of being human. But the very basic definition of AGI is "a machine capable of understanding, learning and adapting like a human mind; leading to self awareness and self conciousness. I fail to understand how that will not be greedy and bloody and all-for-good? Nuclear power is powering your house but it killed over a 100,000 people not a few decades ago. The good side of A.I cannot be ignored either just like the fat man and little boy. In my view, placing an entity other than humans in the place of "saviour" is a bit overkill here. Any entity dictating humans can be for evil; not for the good and, therefore, simply kills the very reason for which the mankind was created i.e. to rule with justice and dignify His glory. We humans are for sure, far from proving it right yet. This A.I revolution is unlike any other revolution the mankind has ever witnessed. It is/will be swift, it is/will be multi-progned, it is/will be spot-on and above all- decisive. To harness this power, as you said, we the greedy human race is not fit. This greed will lead the race to build bigger, better and biggest machines. Those, very capable of labeling us "the humans" not fit to dictate them and then "Voila... say hello to ex- machina greed! P.S: Islamic concept of Al-Mahdi is slightly lower than a saviour. He is believed to be the leader/face of resistance against evil/opression. It will not be in his power to overcome the then evil/opression but he along with others will continue to uphold resistance and put up fight. Saviour in Islamic concept is Hazrat Esa (Jesus)'s 2nd coming

ظلم کے یہ ضابطے ہم نہیں مانتے ظلم اور ظالم سے نفرت فطری عمل ہے اگر کوئی ظالم کا مخالف نہیں اور مظلوم کا حامی نہیں تو وہ اپنی فطرت سے ہٹ چکا ہے۔ معاشرے میں جو بھی ظلم کو دیکھے اور اس کے خلاف قیام نہ کرے یا آواز نہ اٹھائے تو اس نے دین فطرت کے خلاف عمل کیا۔ ظالموں کے خلاف قیام دین اسلام کا حکم ہے اور مظلوموں کی حمایت اور مدد پسندیدہ عمل ہے امام علی علیہ السلام نے فرمایا: "کونوا للظالم خصما و للمظلوم عونا" ظالموں کے مخالف اور مظلوموں کے مددگار بن جاؤ امام حسین علیہ السلام اور کربلا کا درس بھی ظالموں کے خلاف قیام اور ظلم سے نفرت ہے۔ ظلم پھر ظلم ہے بڑھتا ہے تو مٹ جاتا ہے جب ظلم حد سے بڑھتا ہے تو معاشرے تباہ و برباد ہو جاتے ہیں آج ہم اپنے ملک میں ہر سطح پر ظلم و بربریت کا مشاہدہ کر رہے ہیں بے گناہ لوگوں کو قید کیا جارہا ہے غیر قانونی کیسز بنائے جاتے ہیں شہریوں کو اغوا کر کے تشدد کا نشانہ بنایا جا رہا ہے اظہار رائے کی آزادی کو سلب کر لیا گیا ہے ظالم اور ظلم کے خلاف بولنے والوں کو اٹھا لیا جاتا ہے حتی خواتین اور بچوں کو بھی سیاسی انتقام کا نشانہ بنایا جا رہا ہے عوام کے بنیادی حقوق کو سلب کر لیا گیا ہے انسانی حقوق کو مسلسل پامال کیا جا رہا ہے۔ پھر بھی آخر خاموشی کیوں؟؟؟ ملک میں ظلم کا نظام، غربت، افلاس، بے روزگاری، رشوت، لوٹ مار، بنیادی اور انسانی حقوق کی پامالیاں لیکن پھر بھی خاموشی کیوں؟؟؟ بھاری بھرکم ٹیکسز، بجلی کے بل، گیس کے بل، مہنگائی، غربت، افلاس، بیروزگاری، امن و امان کی ابتر صورتحال، نا انصافی، بنیادی سہولیات سے محرومی، تعلیم، صحت گویا ہر سطح پر عوام ظلم و نا انصافی کا شکار ہے پھر بھی خاموشی کیوں؟؟؟ امن و امان کی تشویشناک صورتحال ہے ملک میں کوئی ایسا دن نہیں گزرتا کہ کوئی حادثہ، واقعہ یا ظلم کی کوئی داستان رقم نہ ہو۔ انسانی جان، مال اور ناموس کی کوئی قدر نہیں۔ چوری، ڈکیتی اور دہشتگردی کھلے عام ہے۔ ناامنی کا یہ عالم ہے کہ ہمارے اپنے سیکورٹی ادارے پولیس اور فوج بھی دہشتگردی سے محفوظ نہیں حتی ملکی مہمانوں کو بھی نہیں چھوڑا جاتا۔ ملک میں نظام انصاف مفلوج اور انتہائی ابتر حالت میں ہے یہاں تک کہ ایک غریب اور کمزور آدمی انصاف کے لئے نسل در نسل دھکے کھاتے ہیں لیکن ان کو انصاف نہیں ملتا۔ یہاں ظالم، ظلم کر کے فخر کرتا ہے اور مظلوم کی کوئی شنوائی نہیں ہوتی تو ایسے معاشروں کی تباہی نوشتہ دیوار ہے۔ ملک میں ڈکٹیٹر ضیا الحق کا دور ظلمت اور تاریکی کا زمانہ تھا لیکن آج کی ظلم و بربریت نے ضیا الحق کو بھی پیچھے چھوڑ دیا ہے ھر چند کہ پاکستان کی بربادی کی بنیاد ضیا نے رکھی تھی اس کے کارنامے ایسے تھے جن کے اثرات آج بھی ہم بھگت رہے ہیں۔ آج دوبارہ حبیب جالب کے نغمے گنگنانے چاہیے اور احمد فراز کے اشعار کو زندہ کرنا چاہئے۔ ٹیچرز خاموش، صحافی خاموش، وکلا خاموش، علماء خاموش، کاروباری خاموش، انسانی حقوق کے علمبردار خاموش!!! سرکاری میڈیا جھوٹ کو سچ اور باطل کو حق دکھا رہا ہے اور مظلوم کو ہی ظالم بنا کر پیش کر رہا ہے لیکن جھوٹ کبھی سچ اور باطل کبھی حق نہیں ہو سکتا۔ ظلم کے خلاف آواز اٹھانا اگر فطری عمل ہے تو عوام اور خواص کی اکثریت ظلم کے خلاف خاموش کیوں؟؟ ظلم کے خلاف خاموشی کی ایک بڑی وجہ ڈر اور خوف ہے خواص کی اکثریت پیسہ، لالچ، شہرت اور مقام کے وجہ سے بھی یا خاموشی اختیار کرتے ہیں یا ظالم کے حامی بن جاتے ہیں۔ آج چند صحافیوں کے علاوہ باقی صحافی ظالم کو ظالم کہنے اور ظلم کے خلاف بولنے کو تیار نہیں بلکہ کچھ لفافہ صحافی مظلوم کو ہی ظالم بنا کر پیش کرتے ہیں وکلا نے عدل و انصاف کی پامالی پر مسلسل چپ سادھ رکھی ہے۔ ظلم کی بات ہی کیا ظلم کی اوقات ہی کی ایسے حالات میں عوام پر فرض ہے کہ وہ اپنے حقوق کے لئے سراپا احتجاج ہوں۔ وہ ظالموں کے خلاف کلمہ حق بلند کریں اور خوف و ہراس کے بتوں کو پاش پاش کر دیں کیونکہ اللہ کا حکم ہے۔ إن الله لا يغير ما بقوم حتى يغيروا ما بأنفسهم خدا نے آج تک اس قوم کی حالت نہیں بدلی نہ ہو جس کو خیال خود اپنی حالت کے بدلنے کا ✍️ رضوان نقوی
