GUYS OF 187 it’s March 16, 2021 6:50 am in Kansas City Kansas This episode is phenomenal for many reasons but the one I enjoy most is your comfort levels. DANG FELLAS IT FEELS LIKE I//WE ARE RIGHT THERE WITH YA, COMFORT LEVELS ARE LILE ALMOST PERFECT. Your getting along, no anger, just working hard and having fun. I may be incorrect but I feel Jeff is making you guys feel safe and understood. It’s like he is mentoring and giving you all two thumbs up for your work, your knowledge, your confidence ans just being YOURSELVES !!!!! No one is like her I’m on camera 🎥 you know ? It’s like no one is prideful or patting themselves on the back. I hope you really get AHAT im saying because Shawn your smiling right now it just turned after it fired off. Shawn said things are getting serious. Nothing holding you back, no pressure, EVERYONE IS SMILING.. Guys, this kind of Viewing is spot on. Camera guy is saying we did t see everything thats done. So much more goes into it than we. See (didn’t know where he was coming from though) ShWn said needed two things, 1 look good-2 Run and the NOVA DID BOTH. Listen I’m 64 yrs and I had a nova in high school. A 69 307 Powerglide with SS CRAGARS Everyone in school loved my car. Insurance gave me a new paint job and I had a race frien spray it. Smooth as glass ITV no pits etc. Perfect preparation & paint job !! Hers the thing 1 week after it got out of paint my girlfriend kissed me and I wasn’t watching in front. TOTALLY WIPED OUT BEYOND REPAIR. It was 1964 Cadillac Gold. Chevrolet used that particular color in 64 on cads ans 69 on Novas, one of which was mine. Factory color. If you k is where a 69-68 Nova is, even 70-72 cause I hate 73-4&5 bumpers. I’ll take one with no motor. We raced Powerglides on the strip and the dirt ovals in the Midwest back in the day but now I’m old and needs me a 69 Nova hell I don’t care if it has a engine just can’t handle boxy parts missing and to much rust. WHEN I SEE YOUR NOVA BLASTING AWAY DOWN THE TRACK I GET GOOSE BUMBS DUDE. LOVE YOUR SHOW !!!!!! 187 Customs ROCKS !?!!!! Hey bro, OKC has a brotherly connection with Kansas City Kansas so if you run into a Nova 68-71 please.. hook a brown up. GOD BLESS YOU GUYS !!!!! Enjoy life while your in your 40-50’s BECAUSE 64 SUCKS. Except for knowledge attained that part if freaking the S__T man.. ENJOY-LOVE YOUR SHOW FOR REALZ MAN..... !!!!!!!! 👍🏻😊 Roast some tires man 🐷Hog those back tires and BLOW SOME COAL MAN 👨!!!!!!!!!

Gearheads are a special breed they look at something and they see how to improve it. Really enjoyed the entire video summit and the transmission shop were just extras the real Joy was Sean talking about Jeff and him racing back in the day I understand that there's a respect that comes from that. I remember Lutz and the "Evil Twin" 57 that was Drag Week 14 because 15 he had the Camaro but that 57 was bad ass that thing was the quickest steel body car in the Country he was running consistent 6 second passes and to think that's slow for today but back in 14 that was the shit
@quickdeuce4 жыл бұрын
Indeed, he and Larry Larson and his '66 Nova were wrestl'n for quickest in Drag Week history.When the dust settled at the end of the week,, Larry won with Jeff in second. Ultimately Jeff whupped Larry but they were rulers of Drag Week for awhile. Now it's Tom and his bad ass Camaro at 5:99, 202mph. Amazing how quick and fast Drag Week is today.

I always felt that Lutz was good people. And seeing him helping Shawn just proves my sense on judging people is still spot on. Lutz's 57 is one of my favorite cars and Shawn's Murder Nova has always been one of my favorites. I can't wait to see it go, once he has tuning it lined out. Shawn is another person I would call good people and I don't call most people, good people. If someone introduced a person and said he/she is good people, you know that you can trust them and if you ever need help, they will be there for you. Good people isn't heard much anymore, this was used back in the 70's and 80's. There aren't many people that are good people now days, but there are a few.

Why all the hate on purging lol its technically how a reactive metal like ss is supposed to be welded. Personally I've have good and bad results with not purging. I think it all depends on quality of the stainless and how much penetration wether it'll sugar or not
@JaySmith-kk6lh4 жыл бұрын
Yeah I didn't get that either i just built a set of headers out of stainless and when I was testing without purging I noticed I would get some ugliness on the inside weld and when I did Purge they were pretty on the inside just like the outside and then I saw Jeffreys bird s*** that he laid down for the throttle body adapter they must have low standards
