Concerning the last part of the video about making us feel guilty in order to control us and exercise power, I highly recommend "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand. It's an iconic novel depicting this exact issue in an eye-opening way. So many more issues and topics are addressed, which every Bitcoiner will find interesting. Ayn Rand was a genius and one of the smartest humans to ever walk this earth. Never had this much fun reading a book besides The Fiat Standard.

Even as a die-hard Libertarian, I would say that her style of writing is quite polarizing though, either you love it or you hate it. Personally, I strongly dislike it. Repetitive, wordy, lengthy. I'd rather read something by Murray Rothbard. Concise, to the point, and not embedded in a fictional story. Ayn Rand is the Libertarian equivalent of sticking your dog's medication into a sausage.

Great interview. I need to check out that book. I still have to finish Fiat standard. My wife still has a hard time believing i won't touch anything with seed oils in it. Once in a while i forget to read labels and pick up an item with vegetable oils bit when i find out i toss it. She asks me why i don't "like it". Objectively i" still "like" things but that's irrelevant. I won't eat any thing with vegetable oils and i told her why. I did however try an Oreo bathed in chocolate out of curiosity and it was gross. Unsure about what the olive oil comment meant but i love extra virgin Spanish olive oil. It certainly tastes different. But good quality stuff isn't cheap. But I'm happy to pay for quality. My wife's uncle is a doctor and was so stubbornly convinced "vegetable" oils are not only not bad for your but good for your heart and ask that BS. Unreal. Both of you are great. Thank you for what you're doing❤

And don't forget about eggs and milk. I get my milk from a local guy who has 12 cows. They milk by hand and they only milk each cow once per day. The STOCK of the cows is important too. They need to have good genetics or the milk is garbage. Then, it is critical that you drink RAW milk. This should be termed Natural Milk but the same forces that are pushing seed oils push the narrative that "raw" milk is dangerous and needs to be processed using high heat and pressure - pasturization. I also get my eggs from a local family and the same thing is true - the hens need to have good genetics or the eggs are garbage. Look into Duck eggs - much more nutritious. And the reason Europe rejects American egg imports is because we wash our eggs and sometimes bleach them. The washing alone destroys parts of the shell that are critical for the longevity of the egg - ie. the freshness. Keep researching people and keep nuance in every conversation. Great quote here: "Tyranny is the deliberate removal of nuance." ~ Albert Maysles.

Great interview but I do think the advocacy of Carnivore is too far. Did the state completely screw us on nutrition? Yes, indisputably. But there is also a boatload of data showing that SOME carbs amount is health optimizing from a standpoint of hormonal levels atleast. When you have Paul Saladino, the doctor who really popularized carnivore with "The Carnivore Code" now openly repudiating his own work based on what he perceives to be better science than what he originally used to push carnivore, you should probably recheck your premises to a certain extent.

Saifedean Ammous is 42 years old. When I was 42 I could eat and drink whatever I wanted in whatever quantity. At 60 I have had a mild but painful bout of diverticulitis. Why? Well I don't eat sugar though I probably drink 1 too many beers upon occasion. My point is that age will DEFINITELY BE a determining factor in terms of what you can and cannot eat - what your body can and cannot process well. I'm not sure that a carnivore diet will suit Saifedean when he's my age - but time will tell. Fruits and veggies are important for fiber among other things. They're also packed with vitamins, minerals and a host of other PROVABLY beneficial ingredients. My Father is 86 and in pretty good health. He's been an omnivore all his life and had dessert after every dinner all his life. Genetics play a role as do supplements. He's been on supplements for 40 years and he swears by them. Want your brain to work better? Take Lion's Mane mushroom supplement daily. Yes really. I recommend the brand Host Defense.

This analysis appears to overlook critical factors and leans towards conspiracy theories. It's important to acknowledge that industrial-scale animal farming does have significant environmental consequences that were not adequately addressed. Additionally, the inhumane conditions in which animals are often raised in concentrated, concentration camp-like industrial farms should not be ignored. Vegetarianism is not merely about cost-effective alternatives like "tofu turkey" to cover inflation; it's a broader ethical and environmental consideration. This incomplete and uninformed analysis raises questions about the credibility of both your research and undermines the value it could bring to the discussion around Bitcoin. A more comprehensive approach would benefit the subject.
@OshoRamseyGumpАй бұрын
Your point is irrelevant. This discussion was focused on food types and how they affect our health. They didn't get into the ethics of animal treatment, because neither have the credentialed authorities throughout history. The focus has always been on finding the cause of the modern chronic disease epidemic.
@andrewc7703 Жыл бұрын
Guys need to discuss the difference between simple carbs, and complex carbs. Agree with most of this, if you get off processed food (either meat or non) you'll feel better. Complex Carbs are in everything good - all veggies, you can eat as much as these as you want and gain no weight. People feel better going carnivore because they are off the processed food. Still think whole foods plant based is the best way to go. Animal protein still has carcinogens, IGF1 etc. Keywords being Whole food .... not processed. Eat plants, buy BTC. Not financial advice ... or medical advice... lol!

All carbs (especially grains) turn to sugar in your mouth from the amalaise in your saliva. It forces an insulin spike right away. It’s estimated that 88% of Americans are insulin resistant because of this. Carbs of all kinds cause this, and most of the vitamins and nutrients in veggies are locked up in the fibrous material. Meat and eggs have the most bioavailable nutrients of any food.

Why no meat?
@btdoe3259 Жыл бұрын
@@slayermenteating is basically integration. You need to create cells with your DNA from the cells that are in the food that you eat. Meat is complex food cells and don't integrate easily. Also we have too long alimentary canal and the meat stays in the body for too long (37 degrees temperature). Not good.
