The second domino offset for use while scribing... mind blowing.

Certainly helps quite a bit when installing. Its a small extra step but totally worth it.

Another great video ... and thanks for answering my shop sqft question ... 25' x 100 sounds long and skinny. Appreciate your sharing of the scribed filler details ... good stuff!

I’d love to see the process of locating your dominoes and lamello, especially in faceframe cabinetry to ensure everything flushes properly. Also what is the average spacing for your lamello
@kendecost3 жыл бұрын
We can cover that. I'm spacing them out dominos and lamellos, I'd say, every 6" - 8". Keep in mind we typically alternate them. I will also lay them out and symmetrically on smaller pieces so the spacing might become tighter.

Likewise, it just seems no matter how careful I am in lining the Domino and parts up, it always seems like some of the pieces just don't come together in perfect alignment. Would love to see if you have any tricks to improve this.

I was waiting for you to call out Festool on the pricing. Love their dust collection stuff though, but man so expensive.
@kendecost3 жыл бұрын
For sure, they do make some really great tools however not every tool can be the absolute best out there.

Why would you not want to round over edges of doors? I feel that rounding them over with help with expansion and contraction as well as the closing purposes. I have only done a straight edge on a door when trying to help separate two colors from an exterior and interior to really help make the line street and true. That has been my only reason.
@kendecost3 жыл бұрын
We break the edges on our doors but adding a round over completely changes the look and profile of the doors. If rounding over the edges is what you're going for then great! Most of our projects call for a crisp edge.
