I notice the single LED panel setting uses the LED panel that would be in front of the light when it's held like a flashlight, down to your side.

Personally id prefer to see more 40v/18v tools that use dual 18v batteries or a 40v battery and run 40v native. The tool would have to be slightly larger to accomodate, but very few tools that would benefit from 40v are small. Table saw, miter saw, even a recip saw could work. Id like to see more 40v integration into more than just OPE, as its very easy to own ryobi tools as a homeowner but pick up any brand of ope other than ryobi as theres 0 benefit of owning the 40v when you own the 18v. At least milwaukee m12 and m18 share chargers and the tools on each platform complement eachother. DeWalt figured this out with flexvolt, where your 60v batteries work as big 20v batteries so you can use them everywhere. Even metabo hpt with their multivolt line have dual voltage batteries that work in 18 and 36v tools, and theyre all handheld power tools, they just reasonably use 36v for all their high draw tools as its simply more efficient

Looking forward to the first weirdo to put a sander or something on it and trying to use it that way...

The 18v is a passthrough, 1 to 1 current theres nothing going on. Theres a 36-18 converter for the 40v battery, and a 120v to 18v inverter for wall power. So any 18v will work on this, but id assume the converter and inverter are limited to about 3A at 18v. Honestly I wish theyd release an 18v adapter with level of power built into it so I could run things without the clunky tripod. Something like the bug light or the verse speaker or the bench light would be nice to have plugged in regularly and take on the go as needed. Genuinely debating on taking a non functional battery and a broken tool with a plug in inverter like this and building my own. Too many battery powered tools have non battery powered applications where you end up wasting batteries.

All those features and you have to move the tripod to turn the mount that's pretty dumb

you could have at least taken it outside in the dark to show us how it WORKED.

am I the only one who think that the price is way too high? The $199 price for this tripod is unacceptably ridiculous? 😂
