this one was interesting to watch because: 1. u didnt sit at yr castle building huge army with shields archers catapults and etc (u know this ez mod) 2. harrassing wolf, destroing his building overtime colapsing his economy damn that was cool and as for me very uncommon for usual SC walkthrough

Hands-down one of the most well-rounded units in the game. Can handle arrows and fire like champs, make great defensively-offensive units, and pretty cheap to make en-masse. I'm honestly more scared of a swarm of Pikemen on the horizon than I am Swordsmen

@@dananaditya9347 Pikemen are the best all round unit. They can take a lot of (fire) damage, and theyre not slow. Beside that, their building damage isnt bad either. Theyre basically walking tanks.

Pikemen are one of my faborite units in Stronghold games: - Unlike Spearman and Maceman, they're slow, but they have more stamina / durability - Unlike Swordsman, they are faster, but they have less kill power and less stamina / durability So it that means, Pikeman are kinda like Mid tier unit with less kill power, but sorta balanced speed and stamina / durability But that is just what I see...

if you aren't facing large amount of hostile melee units, then pikemen are indeed the best unit to attack an enemy castle with. They possess better mobility than that of swordsmen and much greater health than macemen whilst retaining the ability to dig moat.

I think what you mean by stamina is melee tradability. Like how monks are trash against ranged but have good stamina.

Pikemen are one of my favorite units, but the more mobile and faster units like Macemen and Horse Archers suit my style better.

the pikes are fun to use. i send macemen and Arabian horse-bows running in first to get rid of most of the stuff and once the pikemen catch up they clear the castle.

They can dig moats, take down gatehouses and wipe the floor with knights, all while tanking a train running them over and costing less than a Swordsman. Seriously, they are the best.

Du könntest auch mal "ohne Produktionsstätten" spielen d.h. Gold durch Steuern und Beliebtheit durch Religion, Gute Dinge und Schenken (fraglich ob sich das beim kaufen von Bierfässern rentiert).

das rentiert sich locker. Beliebtheit durch Bierausschank ist einfach komplett op in crusader. hab das öfter mal gespielt. +8 Bier, +2 Religion (Kathedrale) und konstant niedrige Steuern holen das Bier locker raus. das konzept funktioniert sogar ganz ohne gute Dinge und Religion, wenn du niedrige Steuern mit keinen Steuern, bzw., etwas effektiver, großer Spende abwechselst. dann kannst du bei konstanter beliebtheit einen monat steuern nehmen und zwei nicht. immernoch gewinn nach dem Bier kaufen. Stock dann die Bevölkerung hoch auf, und du schwimmst im Gold

Select barracks and press one of the numbers from 1-9 for example you press 3 you will see the flag for macemen and if you ppace it somewhere the macemen will gather up over there......

Ich will nicht meckern, aber wenn das mit dem Abreißen der Waffenkammer kein Exploit ist, dann weiß ich auch nicht? :D Mich störts nicht, aber für dich, der immer so auf "Fairness" bei SH bedacht ist, finde ich das verwunderlich.

Lorrdy Ich habe auch nicht gesagt, dass es spielentscheidend ist. Aber es macht schon etwas aus, ob die Arbeiter sich um die ganze 6er Waffenkammer herumkrüppeln oder gezielt zu einer hinlaufen können.

Das habe ich nur wegen der Optik gemacht. Man kann die Waffenkammer genauso gut in einem 4er Block bauen. Da alle Arbeiter immer in ein und derselben Waffenkammer ihre Waffen abliefern, hat man keinerlei Vorteil davon, diese zu verteilen. Es ist also schon alleine deshalb kein exploit, weil man keinerlei Vorteil dadurch erhält (außer eben mal ein anderes Design). Es hätte nur einen (absolut minimalen) Vorteil an den Laufwegen ergeben, hätte ich die Seite hinter den Waffenkammern auch noch bebaut. Aber zum einen habe ich das nicht, und zum anderen wäre selbst das von der Auswirkung nur auch nur ansatzweise spürbar, wenn man tatsächlich so um die 6 Waffenkammern längst aneinanderreiht (was man für normal eben nicht tut).
