Thank you for such good videos. I have one question, I have conditional formating and use traffic lights for this i.e 60% converts to green light. When I copy this spreadsheet in email or word it removes the traffic light and shows value 60%. Is there a way to keep formating of excel to show traffic lights while copying to email or word document.

#14 is more useful in my opinion when a cell in another worksheet is referenced. If trying to understand precedents on the active worksheet then I use F2 because of the color coding.

Great point! I'll do a separate video on the Trace Precedents and Dependents buttons on the Formula tab of the ribbon. Those buttons also draw the lines to the other cells/sheets. Thanks for the suggestion! 🙂

#1 I did not know and that will be very useful. If I only want to see specific items, does Ctrl+ perhaps remove everything except the selected item(s)?

Hi Jonathan, Great question! Unfortunately Ctrl++ doesn't work for that. However, there is a shortcut on the right-click menu under Filter > Keep Only Selected Items.
