Another tip for Alt-Tab is to reverse cycle with Shift-Tab once the selector is up. This can be handy as it's all accessible via the left hand side of the keyboard (or you can mouse click the window previews too).

For #2, you can tap tab while alt is being held down to cycle through the items without the arrow keys, and if we refer to the direction of that switching as "forward", then holding shift and hitting tab while alt is being held will cycle through the items "backward" the other direction. Also, in most web browsers, if we use ctrl in the place of alt, you can cycle the open tabs of the browser in the same as the other description did with open programs. For #3, alt together with print screen will capture just the currently focused window and windows key or shift or ctrl together with print screen will capture the entire screen, both of which will be saved to the clipboard to be pasted somewhere with ctrl and 'v' together

Great job Lea! I've been working in the computer field for over 25 years, and didn't know many of these work efficiencies in Windows. I do have a question: on W+. (period) - you show many arrows under the symbols section. I have no arrows, and my list starts with the left/right parentheses. Having arrows would be fantastic, as having to lookup Wingdings 3 - "H" each time for an arrow is a real pain. I'm using Windows 10. Thanks again for a great tutorial.

Concerning "screen captures" I use the "PrtScn" key then I do a paste into a graphics program like Paint them I customize the picture.

Window Snapping: If you have several open just hold down the Alt key and keep hitting tab until you get to the one you want. No need to add a cursor key. I’m a retired medical transcriptionist so I’ve used all of these, and probably dozens more.

Thank you, Madam. For the past five months, my Lenovo 9i keyboard has been exhibiting unusual behavior. When I press certain keys, it triggers shortcuts unintentionally. For instance, pressing 'S' activates the Snipping Tool, 'R' adjusts the refresh rate, 'Spacebar' alters the backlight brightness level, and 'M' switches touch mode, among others. This forces me to rely on the floating keyboard or other accessory keypads, rendering the physical keyboard unusable. This issue occurs randomly, sometimes even when I restart the PC or close its cover, without any prior indication. It's worth mentioning that there hasn't been any spillage on the keyboard. Could you please advise on how to address this problem?

I just wanted to comment to say thank you for teaching me about the Windows+V clipboard shortcut. I've been suffering for the past 20+ years thinking I was limited to only one clipboard item at a time and I've dreamed of having a way to be able cut and paste multiple items. I have a question about what you are saying at 3:59 it sounds like you are saying, "You just need to press word and V" however the graphic on the screen says, "Windows + V". Are you really saying "word" or are you saying "window"? Or are you saying some other word (that sounds like it only has one syllable)?

Alt+Printscreen copies document or Alt+Ctrl copies entire screen - use crop to remove bits not required. Multi PROGRAMS set taskbar to store either virtically or horizontally then hover mouse and click the one you want. Split screen was new, THANKS I'd been using personalisation for swap 1 scrn to 2 scrns, your tip was very helpfull. Its not often I'm surprised a secret I didnt know. Excel can take you to the moon (bored programmers).
