Efren, amazing pictures of Gijon which I found most impressive when there. Really respect your goal to walk the whole Camino. My guidebook warned me about this leg so, I confess, I cheated here and took the train to Aviles and then walked to the very pleasant coastal town of Salinas. It was June 21st, the longest day, so I was lucky enough to watch the sunset over a couple of beers. This set of videos is without doubt, THE definitive visual experience of walking Del Norte and I intend to promote it wherever I can. The sheer amount of effort put in is remarkable.

Started the Norte in 2018 at Gijon and the first day to Aviles along all the steel mills and factories felt like spending holiday in Mordor and walking the planes of Gorgoroth. Thankfully it improved over the following days.

I walked here last year at the 27 of may. So Nice to see the stage from above. I was fascinated of the reedish factory outside Gijon and took a lot of photos. But it was amaising to se it from the air. The music arround 10:15, I used in a film I did of my Camino Frances in 2018. I too used it more than once :-) Excellent film work. Some times it looks like you are filming with the drone inside buildings/churches. Is that the case?

yes I did. I walked three caminos back to back. Portuguese Coastal from Porto, del Norte from Irun, and the Ingles from Ferrol.
