Just have to say, great series. Muy bueno, I was on the Camino Frances 2019, in April, I remember walking that 🌅 and stopping in a cafe when Notre Dame was burning. I had a selection of Spanish papers in front of me, it was front page news on El Pais. I am planning to do Le puy and del Norte later this year, I hope, fingers crossed, buen Camino's

We did the mountain route because of the promise of the greatest views, but it was constant rain, clouds, fog and wind, and the trail ( if there was one) was more like a creek. Exhausting and just glad to make it to the destination.

I heard from the hospitaleros and the bar owner that it wasn't worth it. It was my original plan to take that route, but it sounds like I made the right call.

I walked with him all the way to Santiago. we met two girls from Barcelona the day we enter Galicia and our group was complete.

I was hoping you would take the mountain route. I followed the coastal route while few, as you said, climb that mountain. I did not enjoy that day. For me too much of the same, up plus down plus cross the road, and repeat. The peekaboo Beach was the day's highlight.

That beach was pretty, especially with the geographical formations of the rocks - upheaval or uplifts of the earth's surface. But I'm with you: there were much prettier stages earlier. Still, as always, great filming and engaging commentary. Thanks!!!
