This piece is just as magnificent as the Brandenburg Concerto by Bach! Great Job! 👍

Absolutely INSANE work! This is more than I could ever hope for! Bach's italian style is so great and you've captured it perfectly here :D

You're back from a while! I knew something big was about to come out and here it is :) I love how you made parts of every single instrument to control the balance more precisely, you managed to handle the complexity using your orchestration skills beside your counterpunctual ones. Good job!

Who are you? please tell us, master of bachian counterpoint.

It's Baroque in style, but doesn't really follow the Bach model for concertos. (Well, maybe I shouldn't say that-it's a good imitation of a closing movement of a Bach concerto-most like BB 3.)

Bravo! That was spectacular! I hope I can hear that played with live instruments someday.

I discovered your channel a while ago when I saw your triple fugue in d minor. You are obviously a master of counterpoint and I would like to know your journey to your success in transforming into Bach! I'm into writing counterpoint myself and I would appreciate some advice on the contrapuntal style, specifically fugues. Thanks!

Thanks for your words. Here goes some advice: master 4-part homophonic chorales. Learn about structure. Learn all the chord progressions you can in that style. And listen to a lot of Bach's music!

I absolutely love this - I remember listening to it when you first released this movement, and I've been coming back to it for over two years now. If you find the time to write anything else, I'm sure you'll have a very enthusiastic response!

as @ivansrg05 notified me of, the fact that 'Bach Emulation Project' liked this comment 9 months ago proves that this account was not run by Gerubach as he died 11 months ago in February 2023! I'm shocked and surprised...!

I agree! It does sound quite Vivaldi-esque :)

@@henrykwieniawski7233 There is a motive at one point that sounds similar to a motive from the first movement of Vivaldi’s concerto for four violins in b minor.
@thebachemulationproject32684 жыл бұрын
Alright, to me this sounds VERY "italian" within Bach's style. I mean, due to the contrapuntal complexity I would never say that this is Vivaldi. Like Brandenburg Concerto 6, 1st mov., sounds very italian. It is obviously based on Brandenburg Concerto 3, 3rd mov.
@thebachemulationproject32684 жыл бұрын
@@rumataastorskiy5734 could you point out where exactly? I'm curious! :)
@henrykwieniawski72334 жыл бұрын
@@thebachemulationproject3268 Yeah, that's what I meant! I know that the Italian style greatly influenced Bach :D Also, although this is off-topic, you should write a cantata! With your amazing contrapuntal skill, I believe you could easily compose an amazing cantata! Perhaps you can compose one in a week like Bach? Lol
