Hi I’m trying the halasana but it makes my back twinge, what’s your advice?

Hello Josephine. The most likely cause is a tightness in the upper back and shoulders which means that it is difficult to get sufficiently onto the tops of the shoulders in the pose - which then pulls on the back. Try the poses in this playlist, kzbin.info/aero/PLLTwDvdKnrC6oVfEf2Xcor5xps616FL8jpractice for a couple of months then come back to try Halasana again. Let us know if this helps! Lin and Leo
