Hi, the Mac Mini will work with any Bluetooth mouse or keyboard, it does not have to be from Apple.

Mine is is sitting under a Shelf Up Side Down with Cooling Fins Pointed UP. Remember Heat Flows UP so it Cools Better and the Deas acts like a Giant Heat Sink.
