No, one sensor per switch. Tasmota limitations 🙄

if we configure any pin to pwm. is there extra option to choose frequency and duty cycle of pwm?
@the_vccground Жыл бұрын
In Tasmota, for PWM, you can select light, fader or dimmer and it will show you a slider to control the light brightness or dimming control.
@hehahu-wx2gn Жыл бұрын
@@the_vccground so its only for light work? pwm can be used to drive mosfet or servo amd stepper. so tasmota cant be used for that?

@@the_vccground i really appriciate your fast reply. and thanks for giving your time and effort. i give it a try today and installed tasmota firmware on bk7231n module to practice with its interface. my conclusion . 1. only ready setting for pins like led or pwm or relay etc. i cant go inside any option to modify like to make delay time or even to control the pwm output frequency. its all group of ready made choices u cant modify any choice. 2. when u use several pwm pins then the firmware automatically convert the buttons of 3 output pwms into one slider for rgb bulb control. like it say if u want to use multiple pwm u can use it for rgb light only. so funny. 3. any further change u want to make it says submit to github. so i think next step will be paid not free. while the light bulb that contains the module is cheaper than the module price or same. and their cloud and app free. anyway my final question. is there any free cloud app can control tasmota and change buttons and control output pwms frequency and allow me to use for my own purpose? coz the firmware allow module to output 2 values of frequencies for pwms 1 for servos and 1 for light dimming and rgb. thanks

Hi Man, I wonder if when you configure GPIO14 as switch this could be visible in Tasmota? i mean, I would like to use this input to connect a wired door sensor
@the_vccground2 жыл бұрын
Yes, Let it be visible, but it will work perfectly fine as a door sensor when connected to a Reed switch.

@@the_vccground thank for your answer...when i put in GPIO14 switch i only can control a relay...but in Tasmota I can't see that switch. I don't know if I have to configure something else

@@ellocovoip To add your switch to Tasmota integration in home assistant, go to Tasmota device console and type 'setoption19 0' or (so19 0). This will add your device to Tasmota Integration.

Hi, I wonder if you can help with some further information? In your example you show how to add additional relays to 5V and GND, and the GPIO pin of choice. But how do you give the added relays the same mains AC power as the built in output/relay of the Sonoff basic? For example, if I want to add one additional relay to the sonoff, so I can address 2 separate standalone desk lamps (one with the usual standard built in relay/output of the Sonoff, and another with the additional connected relay to a different GPIO), where they both receive the necessary power to switch on and off. How is this achieved? You show that the LEDs on the relay modules switch on and off as expected, and the relays click, but how do you get the newly added relays to output the same load as the built in Sonoff relay? Thanks
@the_vccground2 жыл бұрын
Its very easy. For the second desk lamp, Connect one of its wire directly to the cold wire of your AC socket. Connect the other wire of the lamp to "COM" terminal on the second relay. Now take an additional piece of wire and connect its one end to "NO" terminal of the relay and the other end to the hot wire of your AC mains socket. Thats it. Do read and understand it twice to avoid making the wrong connections. AC Power can be dangerous if you don't have enough knowledge about it. Do join "vccground" telegram channel if you need a connection diagram for the same.

Ordered 6 new Sonoff Basics from Amazon, while nothing on the order or the box specifies "Power" on the board itself it says Sonoff RF R2 Power. Mfg date: 2022-03-09. I've identified the CPU as ESP8285 and found all the I/O I'll need for 4 outputs but there is no chip ID'd as U3 for the 5VDC but there is a chip on the bottom just to the upper right of the ESP8285 which looks identical and is labeled U2. I could easily measure the 3 pins if my old, old, old, hands did not shake so much. Anyone have this version and knows if that is the right chip and which pin if 5VDC? The Tasmota software works perfect and shows 4 relay outputs.
