Arctic Piercing is a 15% dmg buff you will be balanced around but almost never have high uptime of. AOE Icy Propulsion should return at a reduced value to keep shatter's importance in aoe and ensuring a smooth aoe rotation. Improved blizzard should go back to 0.5s per target per tick (pre-nerf 9.2) with a capped CDR of 5 targets. Lonely winter is an oppressive choice node.

Approaching 2700 io as frost mage this season and seeing a lot more resistance to getting into groups in the 25+ range. Love watching high keys and have missed your frost runs. I started playing again at the end of season 2 and you were the first person on of my buddies directed me to watch. You've taught me a lot.

Nice, glad to see you back as frost. I ran a 21 with Flame wreath trinket and the orb trinket, the damage from both combined was 4.6 million. But I didn't do 29k, I only got 25k overall.

Season 2 frost mage was great. I miss it terribly. Freezing winds died a dogs death :-(

Love your frost contents! Which cov + leggo combo do you think is best for pugging right now?

For frost, below a 20 I'd recommend nightfae freezing winds, above a 20 necrolord slick ice. If you prefer either playstyle you can use it in all the situations too.

Love the video man I miss frost. Do you think fire still is like S tier while frost is lack luster? I could never get into fire and have always loved frost. Seems like every one has swapped to fire to pump and all frost mages have left :(

Frost is definitely a step below fire at the moment, but frost shines in a few dungeons (still much harder to make work than fire though).

Hyperthreads wouldnt be worth the loss of secondaries, its barely worth it for fire. But could be good burst for sure.

When I pugged a 20 lower, my teammate was very surprised to see a frost mage still play keys above 20. The amount of avoidance you have makes me so jealous.

I know someone with a speed and avoidance deteriorated construct core, and a 304 socketed from behind ring. Theres always someone with insane luck. But yeah 16% avoidance is very helpful on frost (give me cauterize blizzard).

Thank you! I'm glad you like it, the background will probably evolve, but I do mostly like how the individual specs turned out. (And of course its supposed to represent an extreme portrayal of how meta the specs are right now).

do you think frost has a decent chance to be good in Dragonflight ? or are there already some signs that one of the other specs will be dominate .

Frost seems like it still has the kit to be a strong sustain spec in single target and cleave, but that depends on tuning. Imo its aoe will feel horrible without improved blizzard being reverted to pre-9.2 value and with no aoe IP. Fire’s tree though is giving them all of their strongest talents and their 4-set at the same time while improving their execute. Plus frost still doesnt have cauterize.

I was running ice lance conduit and marileth. I mention it was the wrong soulbind. Generally with coldfront you run heirmir with the frozen orb conduit.

Just the standard set up. 2232221. Normally you play freezing rain with cold front.

All i can say IS OMFG those numbers, MY frost mage I can barely pull 15k on Big packs, I would also like to say OMFG that resto shaman DPS how da fuck did he pull 30-40 K on some of those packs. I really must be doing something wrong
