Thanks for showing the little water refill detail I found, I love all the Mario Sunshine references in this game! Here's another thing I found during my second playthrough: In the level Shining Falls Special Triple Threat Deluge, the start of the level is a throwback to 1-1 from the original Super Mario Bros! And if you walk a little further, there's a part that references the end of 1-2!

Here's a few secrets and details I noticed: 1. In the silhouette level in world one, there's a hidden talking flower. The platform you start on is secretly a semi solid, and if you go under it, there's a flower. 2. In the same level, after getting the Wonder Flower, you can actually go all the way back to the start, unlike in most levels where a wall appears to stop you from backtracking. The only thing if you go back though is that the trees shrink and have purple coins like some of the other trees in the level. 3. If you equip the "Sound Off" badge and go to a level with a super tall flagpole (like the secret exit in the bull level in world 1), you can hear an extended version of the sound, which sounds pretty funny. 4. If you equip the "Invisibility" badge and go to a castle level, Bowser Jr has secret dialogue where he thinks you're playing hide and seek. 5. The world 5 level "A Final Uncharted Area: Poison Ruins", there's a hidden talking flower. Upon making the second wall fall down, a bunch of Para-Troopas fly down. If you jump off of them you can get off screen and find a hidden talking flower. 6. In the same level (the poison ruins), there's actually a really cool story told throughout, which I found interesting. At the start of the level you find a wall that you can't cross, so you have to go down, where you fall through a tunnel. Then the poison starts rising, and after escaping, you find yourself on the other side of the wall you couldn't pass before! (or at least it's implied). Then, later in the room where you turn into a Wubba, you climb through the same passage you fell through at the start. Finally, in the Flagpole room, if you stay and wait, you can see that the poison that started rising earlier is still rising, and it rises up in a room to the left. Pretty cool attention to detail! This game really reminds of Forgotten Land! I loved your series on that, and there's so many secrets in this game too! Sorry for the really long comment, but I've spent far too long playing this game.

Here's a detail I noticed; if you have the rhythm badge (i forgot its name, it's the one that you get from the Ninji Disco level), and you jump to the beat while listening closely to your character, you can actually hear them counting upward. I first noticed this after playing through a random level with that badge. I think this applies to every character in the game, they indeed count upward when jumping to the beat.

Detail: In Pirahna Plants on Parade, if you smack your head against a certain flower he'll continuously ask you to stop with different dialogue each time.

Here’s a hidden detail that I found (I haven’t confirmed it but it seems like it’s the case): when fighting Bowser Jr., after you hit him at any stage (besides the last hit), he will not go to his next phase until you land on the ground. So if you jump on him, and use the Paraglider Hat badge to do the infinite wall climb all before touching the ground, then theoretically he can lay on the ground, flailing his arms infinitely.

One thing I found in the first level is, after you grab the wonder flower, one of the pipes crawls into the ground and his head appears in the foreground. You can crawl in his back end and go to the foreground. Another thing i found in the second level is, if you don't take the wonder flower, and go ahead to the wide ? block that gives you a powerup, next to that is a talking flower. If you knock your head on him repeatedly you'll get unique dialog.

If you use a backup powerup during a level, but dont pick it up from the balloon, if you die later in the level and then go back to where you deployed the backup it will still be there

In the final world 5 level the flower that talks about calming the blazing light is a reference to how there is a leter hidden stash of coins behind lit up walls that dim when you drill past them.

A few things I noticed while playing the airship levels: after stomping on the battery-looking enemies, you can safely hold them and carry them around. Also, in the boss fights, you can throw a bob-omb or a mechakoopa into the mouth of the machine and it will temporarily deactivate.

One thing that I noticed it that in the airship levels is that during the wonder effect, the giant bowser head is not castle bowser, it’s actually the giant bowser head that is a the front of the airship that you can see at the beginning of the level. Notice the horn on the bowser head.

I'll say it again: The jump sound for the spring feet badge is the same sound as a fuzzy makes when jumping in Paper Mario.

You can actually see if it’s safe to jump down a pit or not, if there’s a black bar at the pit you will die if you jump down there, if it’s not a black bar then you won’t die jumping down, instead you will get to a secret area, for example the spike music show

In the house of World 4 theres a flower that WANTS water, but there isn't because of the story, so, after You Beat World 4, the pot of that section is now filled with water, meaning the flower can now take water.

Here's a few details: 1. The Wonder Flower's "Rambunctious" theme is a reference to Yoshi's Island results screen. 2. I think Mario's jump sound is a reference to Super Mario RPG. 3. In the reveal trailer with the part that revealed Daisy, you can see her face change for a second. 4. When you beat a level and the Poplin house poofs, it sounds like the harp in Peach's Castle in the New Super Mario Bros games. 5. If there's an enemy by Mario, both the enemy and Mario will look at each other.

A cute throwback: in New Super Mario Bros U (world 5) there's a spooky dark forest area where you con go foward in the world only if you go through the secret exits. In this game: world 5, dark area and you can go only through the secret exits. I think it's kinda cute, and also: why does every world 5 has to be a jungle-ish area?(Sorry for being late).

Here's another detail: In 2nd stage of world 1 and Semi-Final Test levels when you walk on note blocks while wonder effect is active, then note blocks insted of playing likr normal piano (left=low pitch, right=high pitch) they will play the song that is Piranha Plants are singing

Did you know that the yellow and blue instant move platforms make a sound in your controller! Also, if you stay on the title screen long enough, it plays a remix version of the level 1 tune! I have 4 details for you: 1. when you enter the bonus coins stage, you use a golden flower instead of the regular one to enter the stage 2. The talking flowers change colors with an on-off switch, changing from red to blue. This might just be my imagination, but I swear I saw this 3. When you get the secret exit in the bulrush express stage in world one, after you go back to the world map and take the secret path, you can see bulrushes grazing in the background, which I thought was cool 4. The animation for using a bubble flower actually shows the character blowing it like there was soap on their hand, instead of just blowing it out of their mouths. It may be a small detail that anyone could’ve figured out by now, but almost every character has a different pitch to their jumping noises. You could easily tell the difference between, say, Mario and Peach, with Peach having a significantly higher pitch than Mario’s. The noise also shifts a bit when you become get into elephant form, probably to emphasize the big size of the power up

This is more of a game mechanic than a secret but I feel like not many people have figured it out because of dolphin kick. When holding one of the blue turtle shells from underwater levels you will be able to swim much better like how Toadette swam in New Super Mario Bros Wii Deluxe.
