Awesome hacks. I have used most of them myself. One that I discovered early on in my journey was mixing a cheap conditioner and some baking soda. It was like a heavenly scalp scrub that gave my curls so much life! and was ultra moisturizing! I was totally amazed at the results. Keep the great videos coming!

One more hack: if you have a travel clothing steamer (I love the Joy Mangano one from HSN) you can use that to steam your hair instead of the expensive and totally unnecessary hair steamers. It also heats up so fast and is so small that I can steam my hair on the fly in the morning. Just a few seconds to heat up and then I run it over and around my head. Instant moisture. Follow up with a few drops of oil to seal, and my hair is FRESH.

chris Allen I'm worried the steam would be too hot and cause heat damage

Orrrrrr you can just wear a shower cap/ plastic bag then get a hot towel and put it in top and then put another shower cap/ plastic bag on top. The first shower cap/plastic bag is to avoid heat damage and not put a towel on your head (this is useful for deep conditioning) The hot towel provides the heat The last shower cap/ plastic bag is to trap the heat from the hot towel Thats how you steam your hair folks😉 Ps: for the hot towel just get steaming hot water and soak your towel in it

Nice video. I'm ole skool so I have done a few. Cutting open the bottle...definitely (sorta like pushing all the toothpaste to the top) bit sometimes I would add a lil water if it's shampoo, body wash, or laundry detergent. My daughter is 12 and she has been using shoestrings also. I gave away some shoes and took the old strings out and she grabbed them. I personally use grocery bags for conditioner caps. They are always handy...we have so many . Love the spice idea for bands and pins. We use a small square dollar tree container and put the band's around them...but your way keeps from stretching bands. Love it

My favorite hack/container for Bobby pins is an old medicine bottle. Preferably the kind without the child proof lid! It's the PERFECT size.
