From a human standpoint, if this boy stays in Nigeria, this Channels coverage is probably the highest accolade he will receive. He needs to move to another country that values its young innovators and scientists. He hasn't created an invention per se, but his desire and ability to make use of local materials available to him to recreate crude copies of sophisticated equipment are signs that if he's given the right environment and resources, he will thrive. That he's studying political science says a lot about our educational system and the metrics by which students are admitted into universities. Pet projects as this one can be used as proposals to gain admission into a STEM course in the university. The old JAMB system from the 70s isn't working anymore.

He is naturally gifted and talented having not studied this technology related course. Where is PMB? This is the right time to invite this youth over, encourage and support him financially to mass produce this devices or send him to study abroad for more exposures but Buhari won't do it because he is a Southerner. His state Governor should do more to connect him with the right people.

The issue is that, our best and finest are never recognized. They are either killed, maimed or totally discouraged here in Nigeria. However, if they manage to get abroad, I mean the USA or other Whitman's country, they become super stars in in favour of the country that well come them. Quickly remember Anthony Joshua the world heavyweight champion, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, Emeagwali. Our finest soldiers have fighting Bokoharam terrorists here in Nigeria. Recently, Nigerian 's first female combat pilot died right in the Air Force base, kaduna. Forget it, this young lad will not be encouraged as usual. Tribalism will count, Nepotism will count, religion will always play a deadly role against him. I pitty Nigeria. It wasn't this bad 71years ago. God bless Nigeria

Which China! The Chinese are sending their brilliant students outside for scholarship. Go to the best Universities in the world and see the multitude of Chinese students. They are studying three main disciplines ; Architecture, Engineering, IT and they are the ones going back to build China that is the superpower of today. Not history or law and other nonsensical jurisprudence we sent our kids to go learn abroad and they come back home to Lord on the people cos they only went their to learned the white man's ways of class system and elitism. Have you wondered why a country like North Korea, that is under war (technically) and facing sanctions for how many decades now is more advanced and developed than Nigeria??? The North Korean Government make it a point and an agenda to send it's brilliant and brightest students to study in Italy, France (Architecture), Switzerland, Austria (Agricultural science) and Germany and rest of non hostile countries to them for Engineering. Please, go check on an independent documentary spies footage on North Korean and see if they're not far better than a free country like Nigeria in every sphere. Infrastructur, road, electricity etc. I wish I could send you the link of the KZbin.

Everybody who came to the comment section to rant and complain about the government, I sincerely feel sorry for you. So if the government doesn't assist, does this mean that there's no single venture capitalist here that can help the boy to make a meaning out of this technology. Haven't you all heard that "you rise by lifting others?" Just continue waiting for a functionless government to come to your aid, don't look for people who you can help grow that will eventually be of benefit to you.
