I just remember exploiting the hell out of this game when i was younger, it was just big boot followed by Eddie Guerrero's taunt where he slaps his chest before the opponent gets back up, so I'd have my special quick. The only part that was any type of challenge was the Royal Rumble.

I remember Day of Reckoning coming out and I begged my dad for a GameCube. He told me I’d have to trade my Xbox for it and we went to GameStop and got this game. Even though it wasn’t good, it’s a classic to me.

I had it. Yes. Very Bad. The only thing cool was having bishoff take you to bret hart in some gym, later on the story mode. That's the only thing memorable about it to me.

Fun fact , the reason it was so bad mostly, was because they tried to make the graphics look so good , that it screwed up the game play because they put too much into the visual of it , I think they could only run too much and decided to go for graphics instead .....

Yes! The controls were so janky and the only enjoyment that I got was from watching the CPU duke it out in the royal rumble. Ironically, this was a game that I asked my parents to buy as opposed to rent LOL.

This is one of the better examples especially in the genre imo of graphics doesn't make everything. It looked pretty good but the fact that we even have to question if it can run without breaking - console or emulation - says it all. I have a feeling going with the graphics + gameplay engine they did was the wrong move, ruined any chance it had. As you said DoR is only maybe a step down in visual quality with so much more depth in a functioning experience. Sometimes it just comes down to who the developer is. The WWF Acclaim, WCW EA games, and all XBOX WWE games had the console power to do more but flopped. Just thinking in my head games like Wrestlemania Arcade on PS1 (a port in itself) or Def Jam being better games on older hardware, or in Arcade's case better than Mayhem on the same console.

@@Itz_Tricky420 Of course I liked RAW 2. Sick game. Was nowhere near the caliber of SYM or HCTP, hell not even JBI, but it was still SO good. So unique and different. I play it to this day. I'm saying for others, like the doofus in the video, who wants to hang shit on them without truly appreciating them for how good they actually were. WM21 was good too, couldn't touch RAW 2 at all, but was still another welcomed edition.

This game was terrible and bugged out. The style aesthetic did look good for the time. The one thing I liked and wanted the SvR and following series was the way visual damage worked. It seemed like everyone bled differently and had bruising to the body. I remember flair would get blood in his hair and hurricane would get blood on his wrists tape.
