The first apartment is an absolute bargain. Incredible value considering location, facilities, size. For me it also had the best vibe. that whole area looks really nice!

This entire video, I was thinking what a wierd englishman travelling through showing me all this super cheap places, and then you got to the beach bar, and said it was your place, and I can confirm, that bar is where I would be. You can't even sit on a beach like that in the USA for less than $7, but you got a beach, music, a beer, and food.

Thanks for sharing and no reason for apologize for the long video as it was very interesting and informative as always! I have been many times in Cha Am and Hua Hin. My favorite is Cha Am as it is a bit more quiet and laid back than Hua Hin. The Grand Souvereign is my favorite hotel in the region by far. All the condo units with separate bed room was fine for the price of 7000-7500 for 12 Month contract as long as the electricity is government rate at 4,5-5 Bath a KW/H(unit). And even if I always have said to my self that I will never set my feet on the ground at that huge complex, I now have a different view. With all the pools, close to the beach and all the other amenities on site, it's a gem!

Cha-Am is where many Thais head to for the weekends, which is why everything is so much cheaper compared to other popular tourist places like Hua Hin or Pattaya. I'm fortunate that my sister has a vacant condo room, which I can use for free whenever I vacation there. 😎

As a Finn I desagree about the sauna. Even when finns were in Africa Thsad as UN forces, almost first thing they built was sauna. If you think that outside temperature is about +50 celsius when you go to sauna that has +80 or over and then vome out, the outside temperature feels much cooler.

The beach bars on Springfield beach are my go to They are just terrific and not expensive I go there for the day ... hire a sunbed have a feed and a few beers a swim it's just the best I have condo about a 5 min motor scooter ride .... called Rain Condos Really enjoy your vids

Lovely condos and hotels you've shown. However, I'm getting the vibe that most of Thailand is "studio apartment" stye? So, if we want a bedroom separate from the living room, we need a 2 bdrm place. Correct? OMG, I kept watching and fell in love with the condo at 16:10. Even though it's a glass wall separating the bedroom, it's still separate. I'd replace that TV with a 65" and put in an overhead cupboard in the kitchen, and done! Beautiful minimalistic space.

Right now I am staying at Grand Pacific Sovereign Resort. I booked for 1 night and just rebooked for 2 more nights. The sea view is beautiful. The food is excellent and the room service was great. Highly recommend this place. Approximately $70 US per day.

Amazed at those condo prices and the last one with all the extra facilities and that humongous gym ! have been to Phuket and Bangkok but that Cha Am has great appeal and real budget condos and close to the beach area, like the separate bedroom with two of those condos, recently in Mandaluyong Manila for a month and studio condos , one was ok but the other's ! so small , I like the separate bedroom, Cha Am has a lot going for it and not too far from Bangkok loved Chang beer when I visited Thailand for a month, your detail is great , and your videos entertaining, like you I could easily settle in Cha Am ! kop khun krap from New Zealand .
