I always tho about retiring in Thailand. I can somewhat speak the language but it seems like it isn't the same like years ago. It's more and more a commercial country. Either you pay the foreigner's price or local price tags. If Trump makes America great again I might not need to move there lol

Pool WITH VIEW... Gym... I'm good on the Room. I mean it doesn't have a 7/11 in it, but if this place has Good Internet (plug in Ethernet?) for the Room, I wouldn't need a City within miles and could be happy. And with Delivery Services, man... I'm good. And he hasn't even got to showing me what is AROUND the place close, and I'm already sold. I make 2K a Month, if I'm putting roof over my head for 150, and I'm safe and the temp is good in the room, and Gym, and POOL... I'm a KING, baby. SIGN ME UP!

I was worried. Most places have the spot for the PC set up in the Living Room. Living Room was super small... but Bedroom actually had the desk with Window view more than large enough for 2 Monitor gaming set up, big enough for Streaming and all that. WIN!!!

Depends, I could just chill there a month or more but for a 1st visit 3 days should give you a good feel for amazing Lake Toba.
