This was fun to watch, did not realize the Dodge Brothers had a more advance automobile over the Ford model T. I agree that the Dodge was a better looking and more advance than the T. I enjoyed the "Buell warning horn. Thanks.

Pumping up fuel tanks. Back in the 60s 70s the factory fuel pump was used to pressurise the fuel tank,, blowing instead of sucking. This once worked out worked really well. For speedway engines on methanol there was few fuel pumps capable of giving enough capacity. This on 6 and V8 sedans as well as some midgets. Which had used handpumps to presussurise fuel to the carbs. A friend used this set up on a s/c Holden 192 ci 6 feeding 3 2" SUs making about 350hp. In the late 60s As for a 15 Dodge they were for the time well built and functional vehicles,, far better than Tin Lizzies though more expensive

Super jealous of the new car. Of course my reaction to "my hoopties are hard to find parts for and keep running" is "man, a prewar would be rad to have." So cool!

This is a fantastic step towards the ultimate goal of a steam or spring powered vehicle! I noticed among the many sophisticated improvements on the competitor one more that you didn't highlight - a functioning drivers door. Model Ts didn't have such luxury! Big fan of the new purchase.

Great! Now come over and experience perfection. You'll be dumping all those model T's back into the barns of which they came. Also, keep an eye out for Dodge Brothers parts in your pickings from now on.

The Dodge Brothers were engineering geniuses. It would have been interesting to see how they would have helped shape the auto industry.

There is so much more to the Dodge, both the brothers died within 18 months of the factory starting... think covid, the car was renowned for the particular engine note...tractor... that is a Kettering starter/generator only found on cadillacs, it was invented to solve the problem of broken bodies from the handle...expensive... invented by the same bloke that poisoned us with lead petrol, still all that came to nought until decent tyres were invented, for years the horse shoe nails were a major obsticale to motoring with the original soft non-baloon, tyres. Dodge was amazing, oh yeh the chick that inherited... that ended in super tears!
