1929 Sager Chemical Double Bit Axe

Hi folks!
In this video I take an old double bit axe head that was sitting in the dirt for probably 60 years and revive it into a functional tool. I discovered it was a Sager Chemical Axe after a little bit of cleanup. This thing is a wonderful tool for splitting firewood, despite being almost 100 years old!

That axe rips - especially for ~100 years old! Love the technique how you give it a little bit of a twist as the axe falls and it forces the wood apart.
