- 3 coat of primer and wet sanding to get rid of pits. - Two tone sparky paint. - Making a tool just for battery spring. - Feeding and petting the kitty at the end. This is beyond perfect! Amazing, gorgeous, wonderful! 10 star job! Thank you so much.

Interesting, I don't recall ever seeing rust cover the paint. It usually eats through the paint through a scratch or a weak spot and separates the paint from the metal. Nice job saving another piece of history for years to come.☺

Excellent! This buttefly-shaped lever from 8:46 onwards kept me in suspense until the very end... Amazing. I would just slap in an off-the-shelf switch... but then I could not even imagine that they'd use the body metal to complete the circuit. Well, that was well before the Age of Plastics.

Glad I found it, I must have missed it originally. Thanks for the videos and looking forward to the next one. That filler primer really does a great job on the pitting, for sure. Magnificent restoration. A few Qs: 1) What keeps the wheels at the outsides of the axles? I'd think during play that they would tend to come towards the centers of the axles. 2) Why not fill up the eyebrow (above the windshield) notches with some filler? Were those cuts really needed for flexing when you change a battery, etc? 3) I saw how you mushroomed the one end of each axle, but what keeps the axle on (the opposite end seemed unmodified)? Again, great vid!
